Souplantation

Recently visited on a Thursday afternoon. Enjoyed the buffet here. The majority of the food offerings are salads, and soups. There was also pasta dishes, flatbread, a baked potato and fixings bar, baked dessert items, pudding/tapioca, and soft serve ice cream bar. All the usual fountain soft drinks here, ice tea, milk, along with lemonade & strawberry lemonade. The total tab w/tax for one adult and one drink is about $15.

I have been going here for over 20 years, which may say something. By far, Souplantation is the best buffet restaurant around, with its emphasis on a quality salad bar and decent entrees. Unlike other buffets, I don't leave feeling somewhat nauseated, no matter how much or how little I ate. The prices are good if you use a coupon or sign up with their club to get special pricing.

Souplantation has been here for at least 20 years. Although I don't visit regularly I do go maybe once, twice a year. It's always clean and salad choices abound. I went around lunchtime so maybe they didn't have as many side choices as dinner, I'm not sure. (The reason for 4 stars). But food was good and no complaints. Everything seemed fresh as well.

Without a doubt Souplantation is a family favorite! Everyone can get something they will enjoy and everyone looks forward to getting dessert. Those panned cakes (no matter which one) and mini ice cream cones are the best! My youngest enjoys the freedom of picking out food she likes and loads her plate with healthy vegetable choices and a big bowl of chicken soup every time. The salad bar has great choices and is clean. We love the seasonal favorites that come out throughout the year. Axel is out favorite employee. No matter how long it has been since we have been there, he remembers us and always goes out of his way to say hello and see how we are doing.

Diane greeted us with a smile and gave us exactly what customer service is all about!! Emmanuel as well displayed wonderful customer service waiting on us and was very attentive. Excellent service, good price, just what the doctor ordered!! It was my first time there but I definitely will be back not only for the killer salad bar but the nice people that made it all possible!!
