This is not my first time here. I keep getting their burritos and they never disappoint. (I always forget to mention mild salsa, because they are quite spicy!!
The servers are friendly and they know their regulars here. Great for family, date night, or just a solo dinner at the bar.
I got their Discovery Burrito and this thing is MASSIVE— Look at pic!! Very tasty and full is sauce, guac, and sour cream on the side. I recommend, even if you’re small like me.
Will be back.. Gracias, guys!

Amazing food! The green sauce is the best I've ever had. Super friendly owner and staff. Make sure you try everything as it is all delicious!! Any time I'm in the area with family and friends, I will eat at El Cortez.

Great tacos, rice, and beans. One of my crispy tacos split in half and wasnt so crispy on the bottom. Still though, pretty good food and decently big portions. Overpiced as all places are, but might be worth it to some people.

Had a nice time with friends. Our server Alex was super friendly and made our dining experience extra nice. Food is fantastic and portion sizes are big. Highly recommended if you are in the mood for Mexican :)

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Great restaurant decor. Friendly service. Margaritas were tasty and the beer was cold. 4 stars for now because in my opinion, the guacamole can be a little better. Come on chef! Ill be back at a later date to try it again.

The margaritas are awesome, salsa is perfect spicy and chips are so fresh! Today is Friday at 6:45pm it is busy but not full.

Such a good ambience. The Cadillac margarita is awesome. I had the Chile verde for lunch, very good. They are busy for lunch but the restaurant is big so no lines. They still have the outside seating, which is very good for them. Lots of locals but families too.

The food there is delicious!!! Everything is fresh & authentic!!! Had a lady there playing guitar & singing. Great atmosphere! Griselda, our waitress, did a fantastic job!! Definitely going back!

My friend was getting a haircut in the same Plaza, so I decided to check out EL Cortez. Glad I did! Pretty quiet on Thursday at 2:45pm, but it's also fairly big, so people are able to spread out. I recommend the Molly Cove area, as I liked the view of the street and trees. Food was delicious and reasonable priced (got the combination plate w/ two fish tacos), and service was excellent. Also I recommend the pomegranate margarita - light on ice.
