The staff were very friendly, and although I don't normally eat fish, the Tuna steak with Garlic Butter and rice was really good. My wife loves fish and loves going there.

- Grilled Atlantic Salmon
Always a favorite. Huge pieces! Took some home.
- Hawaiian Shrimp Trio
Island inspired Coconut Shrimp with Grilled Hawaiian BBQ Glazed Shrimp Skewer & Giant Shrimp. So delish and buttery! My favorite was the Coconut Shrimp 🍤 The rosemary zucchini was a little too mushy for me. Tomato and Feta is a great side option.
- Cajun Salmon Tacos
Salmon rubbed in Cajun seasoning with roasted corn, a green goddess drizzle, topped with cabbage mix, diced tomato, cilantro and pickled onion.
- Ahi Poke
Sashimi-grade ahi, tossed in poke dressing, topped with a Green Goddess dressing and served with house-made tortilla chips. Could have used a little less dressing. A little watery. Green Goddess dressing had good flavor. It didn’t come with my order so I had to wait a bit for it to show up.

The California Fish Grill is a great fish house in Lake Forest. The food is tasty and the portions are generous for a good price. It can get busy on weekend evenings, but they seem to handle it well.
