Daphne’s California Greek

Always a great place to get a gyro and their fries are always hot with the perfect amount of crunch. Today I tried their Greek salad for the first time and absolutely loved it. The cashier who helped us was helpful and very friendly. This is a great casual place to grab a great tasting meal. We are moving out of the area in a few days but I definitely plan to go back one last time.

Recently dined here and had the surf and turf plate. It consists of two skewers, one steak and one shrimp. It also comes with seasoned rice and roasted vegetables. There are two small pieces of pita bread and tzatziki sauce. The food was good, but the steak was a bit too chewy, at least some of it was. The total tab with tax came to about $18.

I always love Daphne's chicken lemon soup. I also ordered a children's falafel meal for my kid, but the falafel was a little too greasy. Another pet peeve, as this was a take out order, was they forgot to give me the milk that I paid for with the kid's meal. I didn't realize until I got home, so it wasn't worth it to go back.
