Doc Popcorn At Lake Forest Oasis

Cute little business. And ultimately I was happy with the new types of Popcorns I had,and the original and interesting flavors that I have been able to eat from Doc Popcorn Also,it is very nice to have a new, and unexpected place to stop at and give their products a try! It caught my eye immediately when I stepped inside of the Lake Forest Oasis Travel Plaza!!

We stopped at the Oasis en route from Chicago to WI for a family vacation. The popcorn was great, even better the service. My ten year old daughter accidentally left her phone in the restroom, next to the Doc Popcorn booth and thankfully someone turned the phone to Doc Popcorn, since they’re located immediately outside the public restroom. Forty minutes after leaving the Oasis and after entering Wisconsin, we received a call from a young man, Axel, a DocPopcorn employee. He took the time to find “dad” in the contacts list and called me, letting me know they had the phone. Clearly we did not want to have to turn around, wasting 90 minutes of our family vacation driving there and back. I asked Alex if he’d leave detailed notes with the phone and communicate with his manager we’d be back in a few days. It’s not my first rodeo leaving an important message with a young employee and entrusting them with something valuable, but since he contacted me, there was evidence I was making an informed decision. We arrived four days later. Axel wasn’t working the night we arrived, but he left detailed notes for other employees and his manager. Thank you Axel!

Nice refreshing salt of the earth simple treats located right inside the Belvidere Oasis. They were popping fresh popcorn when I stopped in for a highway break....It smelled delicious...4.50 for a treat....I was hooked....I ask which stlyle/flavour was the most Pop u lar and he said " the better butter and the caramel" I'm not a caramel fan so got some butter corn....👍🌠🌟⭐👍
