My first time stop at Walkers bros pancake house, stopped by at Lake Zurich IL location. The place is always busy with local eaters and service is fast and prompt. We ordered 1. Bacon and eggs 2. Hash browns 3. Scrambled eggs 4. Pancakes And other menu items, they also have gluten free pancakes options. the set up is like a diner so you have servers frequenting the table for coffee and tea aside the primary server. The place is clean , easily accessible for handicapped individuals and economically priced

Great spot to meet for a business breakfast during the week. I scheduled for 8:30a on a Wednesday and the staff was accommodating while I waited on comfortable benches until my colleague arrived. Service was great and the frequency of our server stopping by our table was perfect, especially as we were engaged in conversation throughout the meal. Great recommendation to get the crab eggs benedict and our coffees were refilled promptly. Crab cakes are better on the east coast, but these are great considering we're in the middle of the US and I'm not going to knock them. Easy check out and overall a great experience.

Historically, in this area, this is no competition, the greatest breakfast house of all time, ever to exist here. In the modern day, they continue to honor their history every single day and continue to be phenomenal and consistent, day after day every single day. I love their menu, love their food, love the omelettes and the specialty pancakes. To be completely honest, I don’t even like bacon but I love their bacon, how it comes out not quite crunchy but warm and fresh and just soft enough before it cools down and hardens, that perfect bacon. They’ve got a traditional atmosphere, but as things get old and wear down I could see the need for some new furniture in the near future. I’d recommend some new furniture soon actually. Other than that, amazing as always. Keep it up. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, over 2 decades ago. I no longer live in this state, but anytime I’m here I make it a point to come visit, it’s nostalgic and pleasant, and the best breakfast foods anyone’s going to find.

Love love Walker Brothers and Richard Walkers. The breakfasts never disappoint. The specialty pancakes: German, Dutch; and others such as the blueberry pancakes, pecan pancakes, potato pancakes, and crepes are all great. The food is worth the wait. Although the lines are long you can always arrived earlier or later then when the rush hits. Definitely recommend.

Been to other locations several times first time there. Service and food was great. Would have given 5 stars but ordered half order pancakes and got very tiny 3 or 4 pancakes. I never ordered half there before but usually at other places it means 2 pretty good size ones. These were whisper thin. Very good but about 4 to 5 bites and gone. So go with a full order!
