Bobbers Lake Zurich

A perfect 60° Oct day for sitting outside viewing the lake. Delicious bruchetta, fried spicy cauliflower, amazing fried Brussels sprouts... By now we're too full for an entrée but we will definitely be back from Harvard and Evanston soon! Our super sweet and efficient, knowledgeable server Sinead, kept an eye on us old ladies, treating us like her own grandmas.

We were disappointed that the restaurant is not directly on the water. The website led us to believe it is - as opposed to being across the street. However, the outdoor dining area is nevertheless pleasant and the indoor dining space is also nice. The food is outstanding, not bar food at all. We will go back for sure.

Loved this place! I got the grilled chicken sandwich with tater tots, tots were crispy 8/10 sandwich was good 8/10, waitresses were very nice and attentive! a lot of space outside to eat view is amazing you can see the lake! nice and cool inside too definitely coming back to try other things on their menu! parking is ok they have street parking if theres no room because it is a bit small parking lot but over all 9/10! Great job guys

American surf n' turf restaurant that serves classic comfort cuisine and seafood with lemons. There's outdoor seating which depending on where you sit is highly recommended. I read a review sometime back a couple years ago where the user had a concern with a surreal amount of flies within the southern part of the restaurant viewing the lake. This can be resolved with a bug zapper or some insecticide but unfortunately this remains to be unresolved. It really exacerbated our experience overall. Their food is priced at a slight premium, which makes sense if you want the view of the lake, and service felt slightly slower, but their dishes make up for that. I had their cod tacos with coleslaw and their sweet chili sauce was a tasty addition to the dish.

Good Food With Lake View We visited Bobbers on a Sunday for lunch and it was very good. It sits across the street from the lake and has a nice patio with umbrella covered tables and provides a great view of the lake where we could see fisherman, boaters, skiers and tubers. They have a full bar, offered good sounding signature cocktails and numerous beers both on tap and can/bottle. I chose a tasty Crystal Lake Brewing Fox Rocker red ale ($8.00 pint). We selected a Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer ($11.95) and it was perfect. In just a few minutes we were served a very large portion of lightly breaded, fried cauliflower florets that were tossed with Frank's buffalo sauce - not real hot. Ranch dressing came with the order. 3 people could easily share this. For entrees, my wife selected the Greek Chicken Pita ($15.95). She loved it. Greek seasoned chicken with onions and tomato, served on a warm pita with tasty tzatziki sauce and fresh lemon wedges. She also selected a side salad which is in the available included sides. I had the Baja Burger ($16.95). One half pound Angus beef burger, hand formed, with pepperjack cheese, sliced avocado and fresh pico de gallo on a sturdy bun along with sliced red onion, lettuce and tomato. Very good beef flavor in a substantial sandwich. I also chose a side salad. The salads were fresh, cold and crisp. We recommend this place for comfortable dining with a lake view.
