Got some carryout Chicago dogs from here last week. I live about 2 miles away. Not sure that this is ever avoidable with carryout dogs but they were ice cold by the time I got home. Fries were still toasty hot, but the dogs cold and the buns already getting soggy and collapsed. Cleaned off the fixings as best I could and heated the dogs in the microwave for 30 seconds. Disassembling the dogs was not a "bun-friendly" activity. 😂 Again, not sure if there's a good solution. Maybe wrapping the dogs in aluminum foil but that's definitely not eco-friendly. Dogs were good with no skimping on the hot peppers and the fries were plentiful!!!

Philly beef is as good now as it was years ago. It is excellent. I tried Philly with everything plus bacon and sport peppers the last time I ordered it. It will be very filling. I cut it in half with kitchen shears at home. I did not want to eat all of it with the french fries. I have tried for many years to avoid having a pot belly. Their chefs do a great job with what they are given. This beef might actually taste better than a poor quality steak. The bacon was cooked in a very satisfactory way. The beef juice is really tasty. I have also tried funnel fries in the past here. Nobody else has these things and they were good. If there was anything I did not like here, there might be a few things, but I don't remember what it is. Grilled chicken sandwich is healthy. I have highlighted things that could be outstanding for someone to eat.

Nice little hot dog joint in Lake Zurich right off Rand Road. Plenty of room inside and out. Patio out front if you want to eat outside with about 3-4 tables. 2 hot dog special with fries and a drink is a great value. Their hot dog buns have poppy seeds on them which is awesome and they give you a ton of fries. Their french fries look a lot like McDonald’s fries and taste great. Very enjoyable experience. Enjoy!
