The food here is fantastic! The owner is very welcoming and sociable. You can literally taste the pride The owner has for his Sicilian heritage. Satisfied is an understatement. I am enthralled by this establishment. It's customer service and overall ethos has won my heart!

Dino and the team at La Piazza have been providing top quality food and flawless service to Lane Cove for decades. Whether you want a traditional wood fired pizza, something more mainstream from the conveyor pizza oven or a delicious pasta they have a menu which will have something on it you will love.
Great for family events or a quick casual dinner, you can't go wrong here.

Have ordered food and 'traditional pizzas' from here plenty of times - which have been great, both as dine in and delivered. And it pains me to leave a review like this during COVID times...but tonight I ordered a trad and wood fired pizza, plus dessert for $73 bucks delivered on Uber Eats. Pre-ordered for a 6pm delivery, arrived cold and kinda sad looking. Pic of pizza is the Diavola @ $27.90 at an average of $2-$5 more than local competitors, but I can't see the value in what I recieved or have had from others in the past. Undercooked, lack of char on crust and underneath, lack of sauce. I get this style of pizza isn't too saucy, but there was a real lack of it around the whole thing. $12 for the tiramisu, tasty but a small portion. Would expect at least half the container size or bigger on plate if I was eating in and for a take-away price. The other pizza - 4 seasons, whilst arriving cold, was super tasty.

More a 4.5 really. Passed by this place so many times. I was craving for some pasta and their specials board looked good. The food is delicious! I really enjoyed the spaghetti Santorini, although a bit on the expensive side with good, but I wouldn’t say generous, portions. The meatball appetiser was pretty good too. The staff are friendly, efficient, and really pay attention to all the tables, which was nice if you were on one of the outer fringe tables.
Cons: Wish they would be a bit more generous with the Aperol spritz and give me a full glass. And not use a plastic straw...
Would come back again if craving for pasta. Or maybe pizza - their pizza menu looks extensive!

There were some good and there were some bads. Unfortunately, the bads outweighed the good.
Service was good, friendly and efficient. Good work to those ladies.
The food was a bit of a let down. Not only overpriced, which meant our expectations were higher, the food needed more attention. Although it presented well, the pasta had prawns heads. This meant we were constantly fishing out the heads and the whiskers through this saucy dish. You shouldn't have to work through your food. The prawns were also very floury, which makes me question the quality. For the price paid, I expected good quality produce.
The meatballs were also something to work at - pulling out bits of leaf and whole cloves of garlic.
Although the floury prawns were raised as a concern, nothing came of it.

This was our first visit, and we were impressed.
The staff were great (despite the stormy, sticky weather), and the two wood fire pizzas were delicious and full of yummy ingredients.
We took the remaining pizza home, which tasted even better the following night!

Been a long time customer. Really quite disappointed at the drastic fall in quality of the pizzas. From fewer prawns (which are now sliced in half before putting on) to the cheese that time and time again gets burnt despite explicitly requesting them not to. I guess you do want to cook as many pizzas as you could in the quickest way possible, but to pass on a burnt pizza and say the burnt cheese is what it's supposed to be really makes people not want to go there again.

Fast turning into my favourite Italian in Lane Cove. Love the outdoor relaxed eating environment, it's more relaxed then the hustle of Via Napoli who seem pusher. I also love the more rustic and course crispliness of the pizza - think the put semolina on the outside which gives it a great crunch! Ok maybe not the most authentic but I loved it!
