Lolita's Bistro

It was my first time here about 2 weeks ago. Ordered the middle eastern plate and was surprised you can get something like this in Laredo. I'd recommend that plate if you're familiar with that type of food or feeling adventurous. The whole ambience of the restaurant was really nice as well. Got there an hour before closing on a Sunday and got seated in 15 mins.

Came in for my birthday excited because they had served us the week before and the experience was amazing. Not this week. We walk in and they told us 30 minutes, which we were okay with at first. Over 30 minutes pass, with no call. We call for an update and someone else responds saying that it will be another 20 minutes! When we are ready to just call it a night, the person said that he thinks he saw someone getting the bill and we shouldn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes. Well at this point we’ve been waiting about an hour in the car and no communication at all. We called it for the night and there was no apology, nothing. The girl just said “oh okay” and hung up. The food is good, but not enough for an hour wait. The staff needs to learn to communicate accurately and learn to follow up with customers.

We got here when a friend recommended it to me this place and wow, definitely my new favorite place in Laredo. Food, high quality food with a nice presentation. There are some talented dudes in the back, great cooks/chefs. Price, is no cheap but definitely is in a great range for the food you get. The mixologist has a great hand and if you are looking for a carajillo like myself, the best in town. I’ll be here very often. Thank you guys, great service and food.

I usually wait to go twice to a place before I do my reviews but this please it’s amazingly delicious. Really nice please with a good atmosphere and art displays in the walls. • RECOMMENDATION: The barbacoa torta. • SERVICE: Fast and always super friendly. • BAD: I didn’t saw anything bad to stand out. Can’t complain about that. • PRICE: Fair. I was expecting to be more expensive because of the quality of the food and taste. I would definitely go back.
