Flip Flop Coffee Shop

Back in the area and decided to explore the city to see how much it had changed in the past 10 years. Coming from Seattle area, Starbucks is not a novelty to me and was not in the mood to wait in the outrageous line. I drove pass this coffee shop and decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! Adorable, cozy, and warm welcoming place! The menu has plenty of options to choose from and it’s priced reasonable. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was scrumptious. Affogato is AMAZING. Recommend this place 100%

Great!!! Coffee here is awesome. I usually don't rate coffee shops, but this one deserves one. The atmosphere and employees were very pleasant. The actual coffee was even better. I travel often and love coffee. Once I found this place, I went back each day I was in Laredo. I had the americano, and it was excellent. If you like coffee and are in the area, this is the place to go!

Fun coffee shop offering light breakfast options, cold sandwiches, panini, pastries, and teas. They have different specials on each day of the week, starting at certain times each different day. I got the mocha frappe, it was well prepared and was tasty. Reccommend this pace to anyone needing to catch up on homework or even do some work on the laptop. Nice place to slow down and enjoy.

This place was cute, but underwhelming. It took forever to get our drinks and breakfast. There were four of us and it took about an hour between when we ordered and when the last item was ready, and about a half hour between the first drink and the last drink being ready for pickup. I got the breakfast sandwich, which was advertised as a panini, but was actually a croissant breakfast sandwich. It was fine, but the eggs were slightly over cooked. I also got a hot chocolate, which came out 15 minutes after my sandwich and a full hour after we ordered. I was at the point I was just going to cancel my drink because I was sick of waiting when the drink was delivered. The hot chocolate was lukewarm and didn’t have much flavor. I am guessing it was forgotten about, either made and not delivered or made at the last minute and not made correctly. Overall, the meal left a lot to be desired and I will not be going back.
