Korean Bbq

I found this place while searching google for restaurants that had jusy opened. The wife and I went to try it out since we do love BBQ. The parking was ample enough and the decor inside the restaurant was nice. I am not a big Kpop fan but I have to admit the music playing was really good. Not overly loud that you have to yell at each other if you want to talk, but loud enough to jam to. Staff is very friendly and they do try very hard to keep you happy while there. The food tastes great. It's BBQ so don't expect super healthy salads there. They have a good variety of alcohol there and regular beverages such as soda, tea, and lemonade. The vibe there is very chill, i can see myself going for dinner there again, maybe even takeout since they do offer that there as well. There were few negatives about this place. For starters, I don't mind waiting to be seated, but if you only have one waitress on the floor, it should be ok to just grab a table that is available, especially when it is a party of 2. We waited to be seated for about 10 minutes. They seemed to be understaffed at the moment so I can see why it took a while. I had ordered some dumplings as appetizers and our entrees. It was maybe 30 minutes that my wife's entree came out. Mine was about 10 minutes after hers. I told the waitress to omit the dumplins since they never came. She apparently went to do that only for the dumplings to come out. Whatever. We ate them. They were not too bad but not worth 8 dollars, especially for 4 small dumplings. I was able to see some of the other guests there start to get a little upset since the waitress was not attending them fast enough. They were understaffed so I can understand the waitress being readily available. On just 2 entrees (spicy pork & spicy chicken), the 4 late dumplings, a half and half, a lemonade, a #11 entree to go for my kiddo and a bag of chips the total was 84 and change. Good food but damn, felt like i just ate at Red Lobster when I saw that bill. I wanted to buy a bottle of rice wine but 10 bucks for the small bottle seemed a little to steep for me. I would recommend this place to anyone but only if you got time and money to burn.

Restaurant inside feels like k pop theme. Food itself wasn't all the great but it's what I expect from Laredo. Kimchi stew I got had just WAY too much chili powder in it. Kimchi fried rice wasn't too bad at all, garbi was disappointing, of meat quality, and how thick the cut was. I went here twice back to back, both during the dinner time, it was hot both times and was sweating, I wish the AC and vending system was better.

Went here as a group of six people. We got seated immediately, got our drinks quickly, and the staff was polite. Most of the food was tasty. We were told the portion sizes were pretty big and they were not. We ordered a total of 6 portions worth of food to cook on the grill along with individual meals and or appetizers. While the flavor was good the portions for the grill are small and not worth the price. We received some side dishes with our food but the portions were very small and not enough to share. The curry is watery and resembles more of a risotto than a curry. Ordered tonkatsu to go and upon eating it, it was very hard and over cooked. The staff doesn't seem to know much about the traditional foods and were very confused when we asked for sauces that are commonly found in Korean restaurants. Overall the experience was just okay.

Never going here again with such rude employees. We’d been to this place before and even the food isn’t worth the price. For starters, you’re barely in sight if you wait by the “wait to be seated” sign, therefore my fiancee and I moved a little further to be seated just to be greeted with “we’ll be right with you” accompanied by a very rude pushing gesture. About a minute later a different employee comes out to pretty much tell us to back up with another rude pushing gesture when there were clearly 3 clean and ready tables. Body language matters and so does service when seating customers.

They actually close at 9pm. I went at 9:15 and they didn't let me dine in although their schedule says 10pm. What looked like the owner there told me himself. He argued it saying he kicks people out at 10 kitchen closes at 9. I understand not going a few minutes before closing but an hour before closing should be acceptable. I left to another restaurant nearby that closed at 10 as well and they glady took us in and we stayed about 15 minutes after their closing time.

Do not go to this place. I usually try to have an open-mind when going to new places, this place, however, was very tough to find anything positive about. To begin with we had to wait 30-35 minutes to have our drinks. Additionally, we had to wait at least an hour to get our food. Finally, the price for what we ordered was way too high for the quality of food; you would expect for it all to be amazing. For example, the lemonade tasted terrible and was $3.50. The ramen that the cooks use to prepare their food the same one I buy from Walmart the instantaneous spicy ramen noodles. For the sake of yourself and your money please avoid this place, it truly isn’t worth it and the prices are ridiculous.
