Marla Restaurant

1st Time here. Visiting my Mother for her Birthday so she wanted to Go to her favorite restaurant Marla's, here in Laredo, Tx. Real Fancy Danzy, and Really Clean place. Food Plate Presentation is Beautiful with no sloppiness. Food was good and tasty. The only complaint I have is there prices and they need more menu choices. But I will be back.

Trying it for the first time. The chocolate Abuela is to die for! Biscuits are also a must. The picadillo is phenomenal - the perfect blend of garlic and spices. The only not so great thing were the refried beans - they needed a lot of salt. Other than that, this was definitely a positive experience. otherr mentioned a long wait to get in or for food but we experienced none of that. We went on a Sunday morning when you typically see these places crowded.

I was actually taken by surpise as to how clean and nice everything looked. The food, service, vibe/atmosphere is great. The orange juice was sooo yummy and tasted like it was just pressed in the back.the cheese steak omelette was so good as well. The presentation on all the plates was also great. Staff super friendly. Definitely recommend!

We enjoy their breakfast/brunch menu. All food is made fresh so food wait times are a bit longer but well worth it. The restaurant is short staffed like the whole world is it the moment. Yet, the staff works very well as a team and help each other out. They seem to enjoy their jobs and makes for good customer service.

The food was great overall as always, but my past 2 recent experiences in the past 2 months the service has been horrible. The waitress didn’t bother to pass our table to offer refills or anything. This was at around 12:30-1:30PM with ONLY 2 other tables having brunch. I had to get up and look for a server to get me a refill (which was not our waitress). The staff weren’t anywhere to be found, most of the restaurant was empty, but when we were about to leave I saw maybe about 5-6 employees in the back and on in the front on top of a counter/table on her phone. I’m pretty disappointed in the service Marla has come to compared to how it used to be before.
