St. Pete Bagel Co.

Tl;dr - They don't fill their donuts anymore, and the quality has gone down. I've been going to SPBC on either Saturday or Monday mornings since we moved here (6 years). If you get filled Long John's, don't expect them to be filled more than about a quarter inch into the donut. I've actually brought this up to the manager before and they apologized, but that was it, and it never changed. Unfortunately, there aren't any other decent donut shops here, so I'm stuck with them. In the past two years or so (I remember it was pre-covid), the workers have become less kind. Not a dealbreaker for me, I know working sucks, but it's something to note. They definitely don't make me want to come back, and neither do the donuts. Just the lack of another local shop does. If you don't mind a drive, I would highly recommend somewhere else.

I frequent SPBC and today I was running late and opened the door at 1:35pm and was given the rudest reception I have ever received at any business. "WE'RE CLOSED" with a tone and volume that really saddened me after all the years of stopping by this company, but the anger on the womans face and not even to say something like: I'm sorry were closed and with maybe, just maybe a smile would have been well received. Their items are good and I have been sending people there for a long time, but to be treated like I was there to rob the place was not very nice.
