Dee's Den

We have been here a handful of times. The first time a regular struck up a conversation with us and asked us to return. So we did... and he was there. But he had 'forgotten' that we had met before. When he started introducing himself again we gently reminded him we had met before. He offered to buy us a drink but then he disappeared to never return. He MAY have had one too many and fallen asleep somewhere. He had gone to get some food or something. Anyway, we ordered our beers and had a couple and then left. The bartenders have always been friendly. Some of the patrons are pretty rough with the bartenders as far as what they say to them. Definitely not how I would want to be treated at my place of employment but man, they handle it well. If they know you well enough they will give it right back to you. We would definitely return. Drink prices are right. Most are very friendly. It's dark and smoky and old. Yep, a dive. But its our kind of place but for the smoking. However, we have grown semi used to it because I swear the majority of the population in this state smoke. We don't like it but if you want to go to new places you gotta put up with their rules. We will return. Love this place.

This very quaint bar has the family atmosphere with 3 or 30 people..people are uncommonly polite..this has all the qualities of great ownership with her committment to her community and patrons from afar to provive an enjoyable experience..her staff she relishes as they are among the best in the business..Lisa the owner has not forgotten the patron side of the bar..she does not wear her position on her sleeve and almost always finds the time to mingle among the patrons in a sincere motion to show her gratitude for our attendance..whether its your first time or you are a staple she treats all the same irregardless of race creed or others..all are wlcome there..give it a try..i bet you will come back
