Church's Chicken

On May 4th, 2019 I ordered two family meals, one all spicy and one all original. I received the original right away but they had is wait for 20 minutes for the spicy. When I got home we saw that they had given us all original chicken. I was so upset I called them only to have nobody answer the phone for 5 minutes. Also the last 3 times I have gone to this location they have told us that they are out of spicy chicken. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU STOP AT THIS PLACE FOR FOOD.

Church's Chicken is a fast food chicken spot. It's probably a lot like what you would expect - fried chicken with country sides, biscuits, jalapeno poppers, and little pies. It is definitely better than KFC, though. The flakiness of the batter on the chicken is my favorite part. They really nail it. I would suggest giving it a try if you're looking for some fried chicken.

I love churches chicken but this particular one their customer service sucks. We walked in and we were not welcomed they stared at us like if we were from a different planet. We waited over 10 minutes to be helped and we were the only ones in line. There food was good but their restaurant was dirty. I will not be going to this churches for while I will take the extra time to go to the on up on 70.

So, we were in the mood for good fried chicken. KFC is always good but lately we've seen a decline in the sides not only by taste but even size. So, we had always liked church's (we are from the mid west originally). So we headed that way. It's hard to understand why food service workers no longer enjoy their jobs (I guess they could always go work at a burger joint and then return to a job realizing the value) the gal that took the order appeared completely bored, so we were sure to step up and speak clearly. We did get what we ordered. At first we were amazed at how fast it was set out, but quickly learned why. The skin (the best part) was so over cooked or just sat to long under heat lamps that we had to scrap it off. This caused the chicken to be dry underneath. We are assuming the French fries are cooked in a different vat of oil because they weren't greasy (or smell of old grease like the chicken). They were dry but in a good way. The biscuits were hot and tasted pretty good. They seem to be overly saturated in butter (?) as the napkins were soaked through that we set them on. Guys you have a chance to do better then your competition (and you know they are everywhere) so try and clean tables and the floor if your bored instead of standing around. We have a favorite saying 'would you eat at that table?' if not then it's not clean enough.
