Mi Pueblito Restaurante

I was only there once long ago, but the lady who works for me eats there often. I was happy with the gordita plate I had, although it had potatoes in it, which I am allergic to. Didn't know this was the usual way done. I didn't feel too bad, probably because it didn't have a lot. I and my attendant plan to go again soon, together !! Had a take out green enchiladas plate today, good, filling.

We broke down near San Crucso going home from a road trip. I'm not going to say I am glad but I will say that it was a great experience aside from the break down. We called San Crucso Auto Doctor, they hooked us up with a a great tow company. Alex was fast, friendly and adorable. They towed us to the repair shop and we slept in the camper van on the grounds. Then in the morning while our van was being worked on they referred us to the restaurant next door for breakfast. Mi Pueblo to Restaurants will be my go to place while driving through. The service was great, the food was amazing, and the bathroom was clean. What better place to break down! It was like an extension to our trip, not an inconvenience.

Husband and I have been regular patrons of Mi Pueblito since the Bravos/Holguins took ownership nearly 20 years ago. Courteous service, consistency of food preparation and portions (never a "bad day" or an unhappy surprise), and the best Gorditas ever! Also especially love their Chilaquiles for breakfast, red or green! This is my favorite "Mom & Pop" restaurant in Las Cruces.

I highly recommend this small but quaint restaurant. If you're craving a delicious hot bowl of "Menudo" , this is the spot! It's so delicious and tastes like home made you'll keep going back for more. I Did! They have great Mex/Amer food to choose from and freshly made, including their homemade tortillas. You won't be disappointed
