Chinese Gourmet Express

I have ordered from Chinese Gourmet Express located in Mesilla Mall multiple times through the years. It's been always a good experience til recently. The hibiscus is one of my favorite drinks here, but lately it's awful. Has a bitter taste. These pictures were taken a month ago. I gave them 2 stars since I nearly swollen this metal piece as you can see in the picture. They need to be careful not to contaminate food with foreign objects that can be dangerous. I would have star them the lowest star but did not because of the portion size was more then decent. The food was good besides that mishap. Tasty and hot and filling.

This was a rare opportunity to spend time with my son. He selected to go eat at the Chinese Gourmet. The customer service sadden me for the fact of how I was treated. It was an older Asian lady that seem very irritated with my question of the hot sauce. When I slide my card, I supposed the transaction didn't go through. She proceed to grab my card out of my hand.I was shocked! I was processing what happened. When the receipt came out, it had two copies attached. She reached to grab the receipt. No way was I going to let her take something out of my hand again. Apparently, my business was not appreciate there.I noticed she was treating the customer in front of me with a rush and rude attitude also. This is a two way street, if you get good service, you are a repeat customer, and the business does well. I responded to her that she needs to treat the customers better and not be so rude. Her come back was, "I don't understand the word". But, she is able to speak that in English. ? The time stamp of my receipt is 4:21pm on June 02. 2022. I will talk to her management and the mall management. She need to have some type of Customer Service training. You just don't grab stuff out of people's hands in America. Thanks I really didn't enjoy the food. My time with my son was tarnished. I probably will not go to that establishment again.

I just got home with my order from Chinese Gourmet and I was VERY disappointed on what I received! Im usually delighted with the portion size but this time I got 11 pieces(I counted them) of chicken not even filling the portion sections!! What the heck happened!!! Well, I was ALWAYS going here for the delicious food and portion size but if its going to change,Im going elsewhere where I wont get cheated!! That old chinese lady was rude and obnoxious!! She wanted to charge me for soy sauce!!! The tall gentleman that was there was always so kind and helpful but they need to get rid of that dragon lady, they are going to lose many loyalty customers!!

Walked up to the line, no other customers around. Girl and what I suspect is her boss standing in front of me just staring. Said hello, got ignored. Said hello again and got eye roll. The girl working today 8/18/2021 has the personality of a salty rock. Went over to sansei Japan across the food court and got wonderful service. Chinese gourmet... totally bad experience.
