First off understand that it is best to visit this style of restaurant (buffet) earlier rather than later... that being said, my visit to this place at 12 noon was five stars. Only one server working the entire dining area but she was very very nice to us and the food was excellent. Fresh, hot delicious. Understand that this is not a franchise, this is a first generation authentic Chinese family run establishment. Everything I show on the pictures is fresh prepared and delicious. While maybe not the biggest restaurant it is definitely one of the best kept secrets in this side of town.

I love this restaurant! Amazing staff, good food for the price, and family owned and operated which is great if you like supporting local businesses! They are almost always open and the restaurant has a really good atmosphere. I also love how they don't take a long time to serve the food and their buffet has a wide selection. Great place to eat by yourself or with family!

Good (read: delicious) food, reasonable buffet price for anyone on an almost-tight budget, the guy who seated me is very nice and polite. The booth seat I sat on wobbled somewhat dangerously, but I'm sure they don't have much budget at those prices, so can't really complain too much. Baked imitation crab stuff was a bit salty, but good. Everything else that I ate I consider very good and lightly seasoned. Will definitely go back when I have money for that and whenever I'm in Las Cruces and have some spare money for that.

After entering the door the young lady at the front barely looked up from her phone to nod me towards the buffet. When I asked to place an order off the menu to go she was obviously highly annoyed to have to put her phone down to enter my order. Very short & rude. Worst customer service ever!!! Her family must own the place or something so she doesnt feel the need to be friendly or welcoming. 😕👎👎👎👎✌

Maybe we hit a bad night but the buffet was a disaster. Most choices were either empty or so picked over that they were unappetizing. We appreciate that buffets can get hit all at once but the Panda was empty, nothing was refilled, staff seemed oblivious to the empty trays, and the cooks seemed to be only preparing take out orders. We will not be back and advise others to go elsewhere.

It was a very casual environment, I didn't know what to expect. When I approached to the food my mouth watered, the food looked and smelled delicious and when I finally got my plate and sat down I was just as satisfied with the taste. It wasn't greasy at all and everything was very delicious. This is coming from someone who is picky about buffets!

We are regulars! This month we've been once a week! When this hyper busy Mom can't muster dinner, we go see our friend, who always awaits with a smile and impeccable service, at Panda. Two teens and a tween, boys! All pleased. They'll make whatever fresh, just ask!

Horrible##😖. This is one of the worse buffets I've been to. The rice and other food items were dried out. I heard they recycle the white rice to make fried rice if you don't finish eating it off your plate. Yuck!! I highly recommend Wok n World located on Boutz. Now that place is authentic and delicious. Compared to this poor excuse of a Chinese restaurant. I'll never go back to Panda Buffet. I wouldn't want to get some type of food poisoning. Eat here at your own risk!!
