À little bit out of the way, but well worth the "effort". Once you had signed your life away with the digital liability waiver, you were given some guideline rules before following your "server / guide" into the darkness. Oh and it is pitch black dark. 7 course dinner and a few drinks later and you are finally shown what you have just eaten. Would I do it again, probably not, but should everyone do it once - YES.

Fun and unique experience - not so good food.
I would recommed everyone give this a try at least once. You don't realize just how jolting the dark can be until you step into the dining room. It's a tad overwhelming at first and I could definitely see someone having a panic attack if they aren't prepared to actually be in total darkness.
As for the food, it's like they wanted to pack as many flavors and soft textures into the meal as possible. Maybe the soft part is to avoid choking hazards? Regardless, if you are a picky eater, you're probably not going to enjoy this. While nothing was just plain bad, the meal just didn't realy hit the spot and I so wish they would revamp the menu to include more simple high quality foods. Like seriously - I want to taste an aged steak in the dark - just cut it up for me first LMAO
While you will definitely have a lot to chat about as your table tries to decipher what you all just put in your mouths - I found the experience oddly isolating. The room is very loud and without seeing your friends in front of you, I got a little lost in my own head.
All in all, I say - DO IT! Just have reasonable expectations on the food and probably not a great idea for a first or second (or third) date - just a heads up...

Great place for a date. A must do. Worth the money (one time) for a unique experience. We totally missed the fact that it’s vegan and was expecting a Hardy entrée so that was a bit disappointing. The dishes started off very strong, and then waned until dessert but still a good experience.

Such a unique fun mysterious sensory experience, I do recommend closing your eyes as the tend to get tired searching for something to see, the wait staff is funny, patient and helpful and you definitely try new foods and flavors. We love the sense of mystery, they change their menu every 6 months, we've gone twice now and definitely plan to go again, my only recommendation is to be open to new tastes and to bring a jacket.. also note it's walking distance from the Rio, if you're looking to stay closeby

What a singular and wonderful experience. While it's a little unnerving to be in such complete darkness, that quickly becomes a non-issue. The waiter helps orient you to your table and out come the drinks and first course. Service is friendly, fast and helpful. The food is delicious. We highly recommend.this unique dinning experience and will be back.

This place is such a cool experience! The look of the building is a little shady when you first walk in, but the whole dining experience is amazing! Our waiter was so friendly and helpful and made us feel super safe despite eating in complete darkness! And the food was delicious. We got the mystery wine pairing to go with the courses which was extra fun. Wish there was one in my home town!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5/5)
**Pros:**

**Cons:**
- None
My experience at BLACKOUT Dining in the Dark was nothing short of extraordinary. Eating in absolute darkness is not just a meal; it's a full-on sensory adventure that challenges your perceptions and heightens your sense of taste, smell, and touch.
The 7-course meal was a gastronomic delight. Each dish was meticulously crafted to play on the heightened senses, offering a variety of textures and flavors that kept me guessing and eager for the next course. Without the distraction of sight, every bite felt new and exciting, and it seemed like my taste buds were working on overdrive.
Adding to the experience was the incredibly attentive and skilled staff. Navigating a dining room in complete darkness is no easy feat, yet they managed it effortlessly, enhancing the overall atmosphere of mystery and sensory discovery.
In summary, BLACKOUT Dining in the Dark offers an unparalleled dining experience that excels in both concept and execution. It's not just a meal; it's a journey for the senses that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique culinary adventure.

This experience was soo so much fun! Our waiter, Josh, made us feel so comfortable and he was hilarious! We did the wine pairing and I think it was worth it since the wines were yummy. The food was… ok. I mainly enjoyed the atmosphere and experience of dining in the dark! Definitely recommend

Awesome experience. Each dish we had was so tasty and it was fun trying to guess what the ingredients were. Our waiter was really fun and did a great job of explaining how to navigate the area. Overall I would come back and I would/already have, recommend this place to family and friends.
