Cutting Board Filipino Gastropub

Discovered Cutting Board by watching DDD so while in Vegas we made it a point to eat here. We were not disappointed except for for the Caucasian guy @ the front counter. He didn't acknowledge us. The sign stated to wait for seating and we told him how many in our party... no reply! Although, he was helping another customer, he could have made eye contact or tell us " someone will be right with you" Anyway, the food was delicious! We ordered the Sisig Tacos, Sisig entree, and the Chicken Inasal rice plate. The table service was pretty quick but we did arrive 15 mins after opening. So there was only another party of four there too.

Great authentic Filipino breakfast, like my childhood breakfasts. Or like breakfast on the islands. Cutting Board is a bit pricier than other Filipino locations, but the food is the best. Atmosphere cool. And the perfect intro for those just trying out Filipino food for first time The dinner bangus great. Bone marrow is yumm, the oxtail kari Kari is great. And they have calamansi juice

I am a white guy and most Filipino restaurants I have been to are not very good. This one is different. Everything I had was good, very good. There are some places I will return to when in Vegas and this is now on that list. If you go you will not regret it. It too may end up on your list of places to go.

A great take on modernizing some of the most popular Filipino dishes. Taste of food is spectacular. Some are a bit off from the original tase of a Filipino dish but it is phenomenal nonetheless. Definitely will recommend to Filipino's visiting or around the area. First time trying a Bibingka souffle and it's quite exquisite.
