Wo Fat Chinese Restaurant

Wofat is a Las Vegas institution, at least it is to me. I’ve been eating there since the 90’s!!! Moving back into this neighborhood I was glad to see it hasn’t changed. And I mean nothing has changed!!! The inside of the restaurant is exactly as it was in 1997! The menu is the same, and the service is the same! That being said, as long as you know what to expect, good food served up by a slightly grouchy waitstaff, it’s all good. The egg foo young is one of our favorites. I Also like the cashew chicken with the vegetables cooked well.

Hawaii people look no further!!!!! I have been out here in Vegas for 3 years trying to find an authentic Chinese place just like the ones back home in Hawaii. I found it here at wo fat. Service is fast and great food comes out hot and ready. It is family style servings, big portions and we left very full and HAPPY!!😃 I highly recommend wo fat.

I had the Mongolian Beef with Char Siu fried rice. The beef was tender and big, the bell pepper, onions, was good with added flavors, with the hot spicy flavor which was good in my opinion. I had it with the egg drop soup which is my favorite which came very hot to my liking. I ate everything and went back to the soup later when it got cooler. Since they have also a Hawaiian menu I will have to try out more since I grew up in Hawaii also. In Downtown Honolulu there was a Wo Fats which was famous for a very long time. My family would eat there on the weekends or special times. This place didn't disappoint me for the first time. The Mongolian Beef was very good just like back in Hawaii...

After reading online reviews about Wo Fat we hesitated for months to try it since reviews talked about how rude the guy is. We finally got brave and decided to try their food. Well, the second we walked in the door, the rude guy was on us like white on rice. And he IS rude! Could he learn to say what needs to be said in a nicer way. One would hope! Should he hire a nice lady to waitress for him? Absolutely! Being a waiter is not his strong point. HOWEVER, the chef is amazing!! My beef was the most tender it could possibly be. All the items we ordered were excellent! Even the fried rice was really better than many other places. The soup was not too salty. I appreciate that! We will return with our thick skin wrapped around our feelings. The food is worth putting up with the rude guy. I say, try this place. Just ignor the guys rudness.

I love it here the food and service went in and was seated right away both the lady and the guy who brought our food were great and nice greeted us nicely and always checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and provided everything we needed. I loved that the food took a little while because it all came out piping hot I would definitely recommend and come back. Was never rushed during our eating and we loved the set up of the place and menu. Very clean and maintained. Added bonus is their is a customer bathroom and high chairs available. PS the restaurant is originally from Hawai‘i definitely gave me Hawai‘i Chinese restaurant vibes❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Tasty definitely will visit again MAHALO
