Classic Cakes

Andrea was the first cake tasting we had and we cancelled all others because we knew we wanted to use her! We ended up doing a naked cake which turned out exactly how we wanted. Turns out this is one of her specialties so it’s fate we met with her first!! The flavors were DIVINE. We had a hard time narrowing down what we wanted but ended up doing 4 tiers with a different flavor on each. We also did a Texas sheet cake on the side which was amazing too. You can’t go wrong! I highly recommend using classic cakes for your big day!!!

Andrea made our wedding cakes nearly five years ago, and five years later we still get compliments on them! In fact, my mom and I still dream (and talk!) about the many fall flavors she created - making my spice cake dreams come true - from pumpkin to hummingbird. Our guests raved! The detail on the design also exceeded my expectations. I still remember on the day of how I gasped when I saw our cakes! On top of that, Andrea is just a wonderful person and a gem to work with. We attended a cupcake class by Andrea a few years ago, too, and it was so fun. Thank you, Andrea!!!

We found Andrea through a cousin who had used her for their wedding cake. We had several tastings scheduled but we canceled them after we tasted all of the cakes at Classic Cakes. You can tell she takes pride in her work and the ingredients she chooses. Our cake was simple yet elegant, and it turned out exactly how we pictured! Everyone at the wedding kept asking who made the cake because it was so moist and delicious! Highly recommend Andrea to make your cake for your special day.

Andrea’s cakes at Classic Cakes are unmatched! Andrea made our wedding cakes 2 years ago and we loved every bit of them! We had such a hard time choosing a flavor that we ended up with 4 cake flavors at our wedding. I am not usually one to go for cake at weddings or parties but the first time I tasted Andrea’s cake, I couldn’t get enough! My husband and I loved working with Andrea and eating her cake so much that we have asked her to make a small cake for both of our wedding anniversaries so far, and she has happily done so each time! I highly recommend Classic Cakes!

We had a great experience with Andrea at Classic Cakes. The tasting was fun and informational; it was almost impossible to choose our flavors because they were all SO good! The cake was exactly what I pictured on our wedding day, and arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was stunning and we received so many compliments on the taste (especially the frosting!). We will definitely be ordering from Andrea again!

My experience with classic cakes started over 11 years ago at a friend’s weeding when I had the Mexican Hot Chocolate cake. I knew then someday I would have that same cake at my own wedding. Fast forward to last year at our cake tasting I knew I couldn't just have one flavor so I settled on 5 different ones :) Everything about Andrea’s cake was just as amazing as I remembered it years ago. The ingredients are top notch and so light, it’s not overly rich and you won’t feel like you just ate a ton of sugar. The flavors are unique but not so crazy your guests won’t enjoy them, she even has different flavor options depending on the season. While the Mexican Hot Chocolate sold me 11 years ago, the Strawberry Balsamic is my absolute favorite. Please do yourself a favor and at least go for a tasting, you and your guests will thank me later!
