We stopped here for a short break while travelling to London and were glad we did. We had the desi omelette with paratha, aloo paratha, halwa puri, chana daal and desi tea. The food was fresh, filling, and comforting - exactly what you want …
I’ve visited this cafe a few times now, and every experience has been consistently excellent. The staff are not only kind and welcoming in how they approach customers, but they also make you feel genuinely valued. I’ve tried their karak, …
We arrived sat then told to order at the front which we did they were very accommodating answered all the questions and took our orders …
We spent £10-20 per person as we also packed Nihari for dinner! Lovely food, kadak chai, a paratha and full English with their non-pork bacon and sausage is a must, 100% would recommend for food and service, and the Auntiji (sweet mum vibe) behind the counter gives a homely feel ❤️
The tea was great, halwa was good as well. Halwa puri breakfast was just above average. I have tried much better puri halwa in leeds at Chai walay.
Overall, it's not a bad place to eat out.
Plenty parking in surrounding streets for free.
A great place, much valued by the local community. Diverse clientele, wonderful South Asian food (Afghan dishes were available but haven't tried these as yet.) We only had a light lunch but were more than happy. And 3 of us are for less than £25. Astounding value.
