I've ordered from them a few times since I moved to Leeds, sometimes through Uber Eats, sometimes through their website, sometimes in store for takeaway. It's always great. I didn't use the be a fan of their fries but that was a couple of years ago and they've changed them now and they're so so good, I always get the big box. I'm not even vegan, I just love their burgers and they're lovely people. I'm excited to keep ordering from them and trying everything on their menu :)

Food quality is consistent, the chips have definitely improved, and I have been a customer since it opened. I am happy to support a small business. On the downside, the size of the burger has greatly reduced, which is disappointing, considering the price of one burger. If you bought a burger by itself, I think you might feel a bit cheated out of a proper serving. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars

I was looking for something new and different, and Friends of Food is absolutely something different. It is not your usual burger and sides but unique tastes and flavors 100% plant-based. Whoever is running the shop is paying attention to the details, and you can understand this from the packaging and presentation. Apart from that is eco-friendly in my case; they didn’t close completely the potatoes packaging to avoid them becoming soggy. But now is time for the food review. The potatoes are so damn crispy that I cannot understand how they make them. I ordered the Poutine, but I ended eating them without the homemade gravy sauce. Mac n Cheez is revolutionary very unique flavor combination of onion and bacon. The signature burger OMG. So fresh and tasty and in excellent condition within the packaging. The taste combinations are not for everyone but are not like anything else you had until today. My only negative comment is that they are far away from the city center where I live, resulting in extra charges in Uber Eats. I hope that soon will open in the city center maintaining the same quality.

Loved this place. Will definitely be a returning customer. The burgers are excellent and filling. Also the Mac n cheese is one of the better vegan Mac n cheeses I have had! 4 stars for the reason that the chips really need some work. I have no idea what they were- they were hard and burnt and just strange! Please improve your chips and 5 stars all the way!

The best vegan burger I've ever had. I've had my share! The beyond meat patty is so juicy (I've had it served elsewhere and it can be a little dry) and it had me second guessing if it was veg. Got the Signature and it's the most unreal mimic to a classic American burger. Love the fries buuuuuut just was a little like the scrappy bits. Do it, you won't regret it.

I'm not a vegan but I do eat vegan alternatives if the option is there. These burgers are by far the best vegan burgers I've ever had, and better than most meat burgers too. They're definitely at the top end of my price range at just under a tenner each (fries not included) but worth it for a treat. My only criticism would be the fries. Seemed to have got the last of the batch as they were mostly a bit small and scrappy, good portion size though. I'd still give them 5/5 despite this
