El Gato Negro Tapas

Lovely welcome upon arrival. Every customer is asked if they have any food intolerances and staff take great care in explaining the menu to accommodate any food issues. The tapas are served as and when it's ready to ensure it comes out fresh, instead of waiting for the whole tables order to come out all at the same time. Our order was delivered to our table in a timely manner and was delicious. Staff are very attentive and professional. Can't fault this place, and would definitely visit again when next in the area

Ate here in a group of 4 on a Wednesday night. The food was very good, but it was let down a bit by service. The restaurant didn’t have our reservation on arrival and although the people serving us were really friendly, drinks took a long time and it took 20+ minutes to get the bill. That said, the tapas was excellent and the paella arancini were amazingly tasty. Would likely return.

Lovely little treat to have a tapas lunch here. The service was excellent and despite it being Mother's day we managed to get a walk in table. The food was delicious and the portion sizes perfect if you want to share, which is what tapas is all about. The setting is comfortable and the prices are reasonable Nice non alcoholic drinks selection too. Not local to Leeds but will return when I come back.

food was lovely, very overpriced and the strawb ice cream was abit freezer burnt :( not the best value for money but was an upmarket fancy place so was expected. the staff were wonderful and the chicken thighs were to die for <3 would recommend for a fancy treat - we went for valentines. they do add a service charge (which is optional) but was happy to pay as good service!
