A fantastic experience from booking to leaving, incredibly attentive staff, nice ambience and high quality food.
The Sunday roast was of a great standard (my photo doesnt do it justice), if I repeat the experience I'll definitely pay the extra £5 to size up though. While the standard portion is adequate I was incredibly jealous when a diner on another table was given his huge upgraded version. The 2 and 3 course deals offer fantastic value.
Everyone we dined with really enjoyed their meals (soup, burger, roasts, salad, all great) and said they'd come back.
There was a group in celebrating something baby related and the Sunday lunch buffet platters they got looked great.
For those driving in on a weekend there's loads of on street parking available near Park Square that's only a couple of minutes walk away and priced quite well. I think we paid about £2 for 4 hours.
Highly recommended.

What a night at Mad Frans. For a start, they were so welcoming when we got there. Really fast service every time we wanted a drink. The food was amazing, and they were great with any dietary needs we had . At the end of the night, we were all up, dancing and having a laugh. It's such a warm welcome place with great food and drinks. Highly recommend going and trying the R.E.S.P.E.C.T drink 🍸 👌. The staff member Katie, who served us most of the night, was brilliant. Easily a 10/10 . Thanks for a fantastic night.

Had Bottomless Brunch for 11 people on 30/09/2023. The food was great, so tasty and with plenty of choice. Drinks were lovely and were constantly being brought to the table. Cannot fault anything about it...the staff were fabulous too, really helpful and friendly.

Visited mad Frans for a Sunday dinner (had it quite a few times) and it never disappoints. Usually go for the sharing board but we all had individual plates this time and everything was as delicious as ever! The starters were amazing. That mushroom dish is always delicious but it was the first time trying the arancini balls and oh my goodness they were so good and HUGE! the roasts were delicious too. Perfect pink beef, pork with very crispy crackling and giant Yorkshire puddings! Love mad Frans.

Had a bottomless brunch here on a busy Saturday evening. The friendly staff were excellent at keeping the drinks flowing. The food tasted awesome. Can't wait to come back again. Great location too.

Lovely Sunday dinner and excellent sticky toffee pudding! Not enough gravy initially, which is shocking in the North haha, but they immediately brought more and it was good.
