My wife and I have used The Scarborough Hotel on several occasions when visiting Leeds, from a busy Christmas time to a quieter mid-week in Autumn and it is now our default place when using the train station or elsewhere nearby. Each time the staff have been excellent, as has the food and a food allergy was dealt with superbly.
We had a brief chat with the manager on our last visit (September) and he represented the pub and Nicholson’s very well and his views/support of his staff was good to hear.
Highly recommended if you are in the area, especially if using the train station as it is almost opposite.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and drinks here yesterday. Food was delicious, with pies like your granny used to make, and impressively stacked burgers. Best of all was the staff, who really seemed to care about what they were doing. Thanks for your excellent service.

Went for a Sunday lunch to discover they didn't do but had a good menu. We both ordered a slow cooked brisket pie with mash n veg. Gorgeous and good sized portions. Definitely worth a visit

Lovely little pub, open to all despite suggestion of Hotel. It's a pub. Serving the best beer in the world, Tetley's. Bliss

Good Nicholson's pub across the road from Leeds Railway Station. Five cask beers on handpump when I visited including a mild.
The pub which dates from 18th century has an impressive tiled frontage and is a Grade II listed building.

My pal booked a table yesterday afternoon, myself and 4 friends.. really good service well looked after and we ordered some food which was very very good...nice pub

This was a lovely pub to go drinking at, with a well-presented counter and a vintage style including chandeliers! I enjoyed half a pint of Guinness at a respectable price and the staff were really nice, making everyone feel welcome. The seating is comfortable, cleanliness had been maintained and the location is convenient!

Excellent, beautiful atmospheric place. Pleasant communication. Polite Service. Unfortunately, after waiting 1 hour, I never got a nicholsons cured ham. I didn't touch the beer either because I was hungry. But I'm sure it's also beautiful. Maybe when I'm in Leeds next time I'll definitely try it.
