Punjabi Heaven ( Indian Street Food )

Second visit to Punjabi Heaven and won’t be the last. The lunch Thali was tasty and great value for money at approx. £17 per head for a drink and full tray of delicious surprises. Even a little dessert. The staff are super friendly, some of the items in the tray needed some explanation. If you love trying new things or traditional dishes done magnificently then this is a great choice. Try the flavourful homemade paneer!

Visited on a Sunday evening, restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. The restaurant itself is quite small which is in keeping with the street kitchen feel. There's a good selection of dishes on offer. The onion bhajis were really nice and tasty. The Keema was served with peas which is probably traditional for some, I do prefer with potatoes but still had a good level of flavour and nicely spiced. I would return to try some other dishes.

Absolutely lovely food. Felt transported back to India with their indo-chinese, starters, and gravies. For starters we ordered chilli chicken, veg manchurian, malai tikka, tandoori prawns, and samosa chaat, each of which had good portions. The main course of butter naan and garlic naan with kadhai paneer and a mutton curry (can't remember the name) was as good as any dhaba in India. The naans could use some more butter, but it stayed soft and tasty throughout. We tried the mango and rose lassi as well, which were refreshing. And at the end of the meal, the manager/owner was very hospitable as he came and spoke to us, and offered us a complimentary beetroot halwa that was to die for! Would definitely keep coming back here!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Punjabi Heaven today and the service was fantastic! Food arrived quickly and steaming hot and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I ordered the Malai Kofta Thali which was great value for money and presented beautifully, but I was so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a photo beforehand 🤣 The small platter of after meal sweets was a lovely touch. Thank you for the delicious food and great service and we will definitely be back!
