Thornton's Delhi

Enjoyed a quick stop here and the food was spot on. It was lunch time and I was the only one in which was great because it was quiet and peaceful. Mae was very kind and cheerful and prepared a really tasty Thali selection of Chicpea, Aubergine, and a Bombay Potato curry and it came with fresh tomato/cucumber and rice/naan's. I asked for medium spicy and it was just right, mild with the occasional hint of heat but not too much. Really tasty and fresh and cooked well, the place is small but clean and great handy location in Leeds down the Thornton arcade. Would go again. £10.99 with a cappuccino, Bargain!

I went here with a friend for lunch and was absolutely blown away. The staff are warm and friendly - we immediately felt welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic, and the portions were generous for the price. The owners even offered us some potato bhajis and other sides to try, completely on the house! I’ve only just left and I already can’t wait to visit again - I would definitely recommend if you love Indian food!

We stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant today while on a day out in Leeds. The food is freshly cooked to order so allow about twenty minute for this but it is well worth the wait! The best curry we have had in Leeds! The owners are very friendly and we sat chatting for a few hours! They are very passionate about their home cooked north Indian food, which is very authentic. We will now be regulars!
