The Forge Inn

I don’t usually leave reviews but my experience here was amazing. Service when trying to book a table as I was travelling from London to meet my son whose studying in Leicester - very helpful trying to accommodate my time. The starters were amazing and the best roast I’ve had in a long time. Atmosphere lovely. Definitely visiting again .

Lovely pub really nice atmosphere, amazing service by staff. Food was good too wife order from the early bird menu which was great value for money and a big portion too. I had the sirloin steak from the regular menu a bit more pricey than other places. However the quality of meat is good and it was cooked perfectly to my liking. Good selection of drinks

Stopped off here whilst doing a walk in the area as was recommended as a great local pub. We hadn't book but staff allowed us to sit outside which was great as weather was lovely and warm. We both had a roast Sunday lunch which was around £19 and a pint of Phoenix £4.60. Phoenix was a lovely refreshing pint which had a fruity flavour and was very nice to drink. After waiting about 30 minutes we chased the food and it arrived soon afterwards. Really great quality. Meat was tasty and roast potatoes were excellent, very tasty and flavourful. Vegetables were also great and very well cooked. Overall really great food and drink and would recommend.

I had an amazing sunday roast with all the trimmings. The chocolate fudge was delicious as well. The vibe is really nice here at the Forge. The staff are friendly and polite. The inside decor is good, with lots of seating areas and booths. The beer garden is huge and is perfect for a summers day. I've had one of the pizza's from the pizza shed before and it was delicious!

The atmosphere, staff and food here are all too notch. The pub is also nicely furnished and makes you feel comfortable. The price is very reasonable for what you get, and what you get isn’t a slap up plate of food it is a tasty meal prepared excellently with care and diligence. My props to the Chefs. I will definitely return.

I don’t normally leave reviews on restaurants unless they’re really good and In this instance it was AMAZING. The Sunday dinner was fantastic, it definitely is one of the best roast dinners I’ve had in the area and the chocolate fudge cake was incredible (and huge). Service was very good and all waiters were very polite and attentive. 10/10 highly recommend🌟
