So nice to be able to have a drink and a snack, in a genuine cosy country pub. Always looks lovely inside and out and beautifully decorated, according to the season. One of our favourites.

Fabulous traditional village pub. They dont serve food, but on Saturdays, they do the most amazing cobs bought from the bar. We will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing country pub. As a leader of a walking group, it's so hard to find a pub, that truly welcomes walker's.
It's been lovely working with the land lady Eleanor and we all look forward to our lunch break in a few weeks time.
Also, when we did the recci for the 2alk, the whole pub was decorated for Halloween, even the outdoor seating area across the road was not forgotten about. Marvelous.

Nice pub in a quiet village. Dog friendly with seating outside the front and immediately over the road where there is a small car park. Staff were friendly and a decent selection of ales including Doom Bar and Landlord.

A warm welcome from the owners and staff weather it's summer or winter.
Good stop off point after, or before, a country walk.
Great selection of beers and spirits (including 0%) and Guinness. Also a wide range of soft drinks.🙂

Nice friendly country pub with great atmosphere and good choice of beers. Two fairly small bars and additional seating in the car park over the road. Can get busy with customers outside the pub and cars parked on the road.

A bustling country pub under new ownership. Friendly staff and landlord. New seating inside and out. Decent choice of beer. Quiet location in a typically gorgeous South Leicestershire village.

Lovely pub, nice selection of beers and guest ales. Fantastic welcoming staff. Large car park and beer garden on the other side of the road. Cyclist and walker friendly. Also serves good quality meals.
