Friendly staff always very welcoming and happy to help. Good reasonably priced meals. Never have to wait too long and on the occasion when they have been overly busy they have told us how long wait on food was before we ordered.

The server Ash was so helpful and friendly. The chef was outstanding and paid us a visit. This was one of our best pub visits in a while. We are staying in the car park in a motorhome and the service has been outstanding

Went along for some food after being in the hospital with my daughter and wow, what a great meal for the price. All of the staff are always pleasant.
Andrea served us to start with and came back to see if everything was ok with the meals.
Being a lover of steaks I don't see the point in spending over the odds for a steak when I can go along to the white horse and it's cooked to perfection. Thank you chef. The only thing I could say is the onion rings could be bigger but that is not a complaint.

Food was amazing, staff friendly and helpful however no real atmosphere due to lack of custom, but it was a wk day early afternoon. Decor was lovely and felt very comfortable. A shame some of the chairs felt like there were galling to bits, we had to find sturdy chairs before sitting down for our meal

When we arrived one of the staff said they couldn’t cook anything because there was no Gas supply and they were waiting for an emergency repair man .
She said we could have Tuna sandwiches or a selection of Pizzas.
We usually have sirloin steak so we were disappointed.
We were going to find somewhere else but we were on a tight schedule so we had the Meat Feast Pizza which was nice.

Visited a couple of times over the last couple of weeks, and equally good both times. First time was a Friday evening and, despite the place being very busy, we were served at the bar quickly and by very friendly staff. The food arrived quickly and was cooked well, tasty and good portion sizes. There's a good choice on the menu and the prices were fair. I live fairly locally and can see myself eating here quite often.

We found The White Horse through being contributors to Britstops, a motorhome stopover facility, which enables the use of the carpark overnight while taking advantage of the services provided.
In this case, we were able to have dinner, stay overnight and arrange to lunch with friends the following day.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced and the location suited us well.
