Firstly the food is very tasty. Jas has done an incredible job in keeping the menu versatile. The dosa and the toasties are a must.
The cocktails are made adroitly with the unique spirits..

We had my sons 21st party here in and it was fabulous.
Jas and his team were amazing hosts and managed all of our bespoke food, drink and other requests.
Our friends have all said that service, drinks (especially the cocktails) and the food were delicious. We ourselves thought the food was so tasty and plentiful.
This is such a hip, relaxing venue and the unique decor fits in perfectly with the the Verandah’s themes.
We come here now at any possible opportunity and I’d highly recommend this venue for the amazing customer service, menu and drinks.
Jas has made this bar a very unique and very special venue on Queens Road and I’d highly recommend anyone to check the Verandah bar ASAP.

I celebrated my birthday here and must say, I had a very lovely experience!
Food wise, I had the lamb melts with sweet potatoes. Food was perfect, no complaints. I'll update with photos next time as need to try the Calcutta Rolls because they looked amazing!

A limited menu, but what they do, they do exceptionally well.
It's just toasties, wraps and chips, but they all have a superb Indian twist that blends with the English staples. Just the right level of heat that makes its presence known without being too spicy too.
Great spot for an indulgent and tasty lunch.

We had an absolutely amazing authentic Indian dinner on the outside terrace. The experience was extremely Covid secure and the staff were so friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone who would like to experience authentic Indian food. The cocktails were absolutely delicious too. I would highly recommend and thank you to the staff for making us have such a great experience (especially in light of the cold weather!!).

Excellent customer service from Jas - 100% recommend, I had 'The Brit' melt gluten free and it was delicious, great price and not too spicy. All I would improve is having a knife with the sandwich as the melt is wonderfully stringy from the cheese, can't wait to see you guys again!

The flavours of this place are out of this world! Delicious without being over spiced. We've had the big valentine's meal which was epic and we've had Brit toasties, all amazing. Their portions are generous. So accommodating to dietary requirements or even just preference! Beautiful food and I hope it flourishes here.
