The Station On Kings

Wow! What a cool, unique spot. The pastries were out of this world. The carrot cake was so fresh and moist. Perfect amount of walnuts for that crunch. The apple fritter was my favorite and I will be getting that again as soon as I go back. Although prices are higher than Dunkin… it’s worth every penny. Also, outside seating is great, and dog friendly.

This Cafe is a gem. Honestly hands down some of the best pastries I've had in my life. The decoration and the vibe of this Cafe is amazing. The idea of ordering what you want and them bringing it to your table is pretty cool compared to having waiters and waitresses. I will definitely be back in the future.

While on our way to an overnight in Rehoboth Beach, we stopped into The Stations on Kings on a Sunday for lunch. Stopping in around 1 p.m., we were seated right away inside their beautiful greenhouse. Here's our experience: 1) Space: It's stunning! When you walk in, you're greeted by a large shop full of home goods and a bakery where you can get pastries, macaroons, etc. The main dining area is inside a green house with a glass ceiling letting natural light in. There's a spacious outdoor seating area (no heaters) and a garden center outside. 2) Food: They have a full menu of fresh food. My wife's barley and beef soup was tasty as was my shitake mushroom and caramelized onion quiche. 3) Drinks: My wife and I both ordered a vanilla latte and wow. It was a really good cup of coffee and comes in a large mug. 3) Service: Every one was friendly and attentive. The hostess was more than willing to change our seating from outdoor to indoor when we realized how cold it was outside.

This place is a hidden gem that has the perfect vibe for a relaxing lunch to make you feel like you are on vacation everyday. We come back again from out of state because we were so impressed by it's food. It's not just the perfect place for brunch/lunch but they also serve delicious desserts and there is a little shop inside that sell local products similar to what you can find on etsy. Also, there is a little gardening shop right next to the store for perfect Instagram photos. Well, let's dive in to their food. Their food's presentation is summery with vibrant color and artistic placement. Feel like you are served at a high-end hotel/restaurant. We ordered the crab avocado toast, ham sandwich, soup and desserts. Nothing miss a mark and they are top notch michelin star level. Their homemade toast are fresh and crunchy, the sandwich are very juicy and rich in flavor. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. Their choice of ingredients make their dishes become one of it's kind that you won't find anything similar in nearby area. Did I mention that the price is very reasonable and the portion is fulfilling? So don't forget to add this place on your next must visit stop in Delaware.

Incredible experience at Station on Kings on New Years Day 2022. We first went to the pastry counter, and the staff kindly explained how and where to order items. You can get everything at the pastry counter (drinks, pastry, kitchen food), or at the barista counter you can order drinks and kitchen food (not pastry). If eating-in, your food/beverage will be brought to you. The pastry, breads, and food were the absolute best I’ve ever had. We order the ham & cheese baguette, apple fritter, salmon on a dark bread, mushroom quiche, and this incredible sweet pastry with a cream cheese and smooth fruit filling. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and inviting. The indoor seating is in a sunroom, and there is plenty of outdoor seating for warmer days. They also have a shop with pantry items, fresh cheeses, home decor, etc. Overall Station on Kings is top-notch. You can tell their team cares about the quality of their work, and seek to provide an excellent and unique experience. This is the perfect place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This is the absolute perfect place if you like to shop in a delightful market, sip tasty fresh-made espresso, enjoy a wonderful meal in an atrium, choose a few hone-made pastries for later and stroll thru colorful gardens. Best of all, do it all at the same place! I was like a kid in a candy store here. Perfect! A 10 out of 10.
