On The Rocks Dockside Grill - Lewes

Review is for the coffee shop .. Sign says "back in 5 minutes", waiting 25... Went to ask for help said be right there .. another 7 minutes later. Come on guys.. your coffee isn't that great to be asking your customers to wait this long for a simple cup of joe. Oh, and to boot, ordered a cappuccino .. got a latte (cup filled to the top with milk). Plus they out disgusting cinnamon on top... Asked to remake to cappuccino and he replies, "thars just how our machine makes it!". OMG people .. don't have a cappuccino on your menu if your machine only makes lattes . This place is a joke. Internet speeds are marginal and intermittent.

We were headed to Cape May for the afternoon on business, and a friend suggested we go early and leave our car in line for the ferry, and then go enjoy lunch out on the deck. What an excellent idea! On the Rocks is a great addition to the local restaurant scene. Obviously, a boon for travelers going in both directions, but not a bad place either to while away an hour or two with a fabulous view of the water, and watching the ferries come and go. There is an indoor dining room, but out on the deck they have tables with umbrellas for seated service as well as a large bar area that you can sit or stand around. Full bar service, Crush cocktails on special, and they make a pretty good burger with excellent french fries on the side. No time to eat? They'll box it for your ferry ride.
