Overall a very good experience. The only reason for four stars is because our server didn't seem to know what was up with specials or a beer list. She was sweet and respectful though. She also didn't have anything to say when I showed her that the clams in my bouillabaisse didn't open. It was all delicious. My date had an awesome strip steak. It was all around pleasant though.

Looking for the world's smallest "king" crab legs with zero flavor that you can't use a cracker to open? Well, then you've found the place! Shells were gummy (they would bend, not crack) and required scissors to open. Probably best to take them off the menu. Overpriced, too. But the Paper Airplane drink James made was super yummy !!!

My wife and I ate there over the summer and our steak meals were excellent with a large mashed potato side. This past weekend my friend and I wanted to get a good steak dinner. The service and the waiter were excellent. The restaurant and the facility are impeccably clean, as are the restrooms. We both ordered the specials of the evening, which were steaks, we agreed both were mediocre at best. I paid $120 for a steak that was tasteless and burnt on one side. The side of mashed potatoes was not even the size of an ice cream scoop. I will eat there again, as I enjoy the atmosphere, and the Lewes area in general. We all know end of season and staffing is an issue. They should definitely work on seasoning and or dry aging, if they're going to sell high-end steaks. I do recommend the place overall but from reading other comments, it seems that this is an issue.

We dined outside with reservations on a Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary. The main entrees deserve 4 stars. But on the whole, this place feels disjointed. The service and ambiance do not match the prices at all. It feels like they aimed high, but missed the mark. I feel like, if you’re going to push bottled water service, bottles of wine vs glasses, etc., you’ve also got to do better than a cutter brand mosquito candle on a cheap patio set, that never gets lit even though the bugs are pretty bad. You have to refill iced teas, and at least check on tables once to make sure food is good and orders are right, etc., especially if you didn’t bring the order out yourself. You have to not argue back about what the server told you when you repeatedly bring other people’s orders to our table and we kindly tell you that’s not ours. You have to have better attention to detail in general. Potted plants in plastic pots sitting inside oversized pot hangars that don’t match… it’s a mood on the patio, but it’s not the right one at all. Disjointed really is the right word, and at these prices, you need to get more of the night right. With all the choices in Lewes, I wouldn’t choose this again.

Great location, right near the beach, friendly, knowledgable staff. Amazing food! We started with the meatballs, so much flavor is packed into these tiny delicious treats. The bread before hand was unlike any I've had, filled will herbs and with an almost cake like consistency. Such a nice surprise. For the entree, we had the rib eye steak, mashed potatoes and a side of brussel sprouts. Everything oozed with flavor! This was a meal to be relished, not rushed. Our server Kayla was so sweet and attentive. Just one big wonderful experience. Oh and the price... well worth it! A must visit. Every time we visit Lewes, it is necessary that we visit the Steak House. Three years and it never disappoints. A must visit for anyone who enjoys great food and friendly professional service.
