Grotto Pizza

Cute place, I went on Friday afternoon and while the dining room wasn't busy, the bar was almost full. I got a Grotto Junior (personal pizza, dine in) and then ordered a salad to go. The pizza was good, but I like my crust a bit more crunchy. However, the pizza still hit the spot after a long day of hiking. My server was very friendly (Gabrielle I think) and checked on me often. I was so focused on pizza I didn't really look too closely at the rest of the menu, but it seemed like there were plenty of options.

If you like NY style pizza, don’t mind very warm dining rooms, and don’t mind incredibly awkward service then you won’t have a problem with this place at all. After working outside all day, we thought we’d get lunch and relax in the ac. This places ac seemed to be off. The food was fine. Sauce on top. Every staff person was awkward, probably their first jobs. There were lots of games and TVs. Seemed like it’d be a fun family place. I’d recommend it if you have children.

If you have eaten chicken pram before from other restaurants besides Grotto don’t order it from here, if you expecting a big juicy chicken breast stop and find another restaurant! You will be disappointed on the size of the chicken breast! See pic! For $16 I wanted a juicy or 2 chicken breast! Sadly this was the fine straw with this organization! We had issue in the Middletown location! So off to new adventures

On vacation staying at the Home 2 by Hilton, I called for a delivery order a bit before closing time. I was so grateful that the same young lady whom took my order over the phone also promptly delivered my order and was very honest about returning with the correct amount of change. I ordered a large half pineapple and beef and other half extra cheese. The pizza was out of this world amazing.
