General Store

Not so happy with my local sandwich place.. called to order steak sandwiches.. they are replacing grill.. ok that's a good thing.. today I called grill is replaced but no rolls .. so I asked to get lunch meat.. now mind you this is at 4:40 pm was told they already cleaned the slicers and couldn't do that because they close the deli at 5.. if the deli closes at 5 why could I get lunch meat.. just saying

Well I've been coming here for years and it is still a great place to buy a sub. That being said, they are going a little lighter in the meat, and today they forgot my cheese altogether! All good. I had cheese in the fridge. Turkey sub is still meaty enough and is really yummy. Everybody working there us nice. Great location. On 24 if you are going that route. Also thier crab bisque and home made salads are definately better than the grocery store chains.

Love the store! We always call to order for pick up and usually get a BLT on a Kaiser roll (always fresh) and a bacon egg & cheese on a large wrap. Fiancé says the cheesesteaks are amazing here too. It’s quick and usually ready within 10-20. Sometimes there’s a lot of people waiting but usually we’re in and out. It helps that we pay before picking up the food, that definitely made the process go quicker. I think they’re adding more staff in the kitchen which is a great idea to make it even faster. Lady at cash register is always so sweet too.

Very disappointed. I have always raved about their breakfast subs but it was terrible this time. For some reason it had a lot of salt on it and I definitely didn't ask for salt. I couldn't even eat it and that really frustrates me because it cost over $9! This sub used to be under $6. I understand inflation and price increases but that is ridiculous! Not to mention very light on the eggs and bacon compared to how it used to be. On a positive note the store looks very nice and the staff is friendly however they don't properly wear their masks.
