Cork & Barrel

My husband and I stumbled into Cork and Barrel and instantly felt welcomed. Bev and Jim have exceptional taste and very knowledgeable with their bourbon and wines. The wine club has not only expanded our wine pallet, but also brought us friendships and lots of laughs. Cheers if looking for great wine and bourbon!

Stopped in looking for a Father’s Day gift for my husband. Jim was exceptionally welcoming and had great recommendations! Highly suggest stopping in to shop local instead of hitting up a National chain. The selection of wine and bourbon were endless! Jim said they’re opening the bar again June 11th!! Exciting news!!

Bev and Jim are a wonderful couple who own this local wine and bourbon store!!! They are very helpful in helping you select out your wine or bourbon if you like. They also have tastings. We typically go to their side wall that had wine in 3 tiers of pricing going from low teens up to high 20's maybe even into the 30's. They do have a wall for people with more matured tastes and deeper pockets haha. I can't say enough about this place. Bev has been fortunate enough to have picked out our top 2 favorite wines and we've only been here 6 months. Good place!

I had a very poor experience on my first visit here. I am a fairly serious and regular wine collector and like to be knowledgeable about the wines that I purchase. I typically browse a store’s inventory and then come back on a different visit to purchase . I photographed a few bottles to read reviews at my leisure, and was chastised by the person working for taking pictures. It wasn’t a friendly approach and an explanation that I took pictures to read reviews didn’t seem to help. I’ve never been in a store that discouraged wine consumers from educating themselves about product, or that reacted to me taking a picture of their wines. I guess I won’t be spending any of my wine budget here.
