O'charley's

I had the chicken tender dinner with fries and salad and my son had the 3 piece chicken tender dinner with a baked potato off of the kids menu. I was surprised to find that they now up charge you (I believe it was $2 more) if you want one of your sides to be a salad. You would think that a bowl of lettuce would be one of their lowest cost items to serve. The food was average, nothing was terrible but then again nothing was great either. Our server was terrible. We had to wait for her for everything. She never asked if we needed refills, more bread, or anything else. She was basically a ghost! I finally had to flag her down and get her attention to get her to bring me my check and a to go box.

Had the best service tonight. Rue was an amazing waitress. My strawberry lemonade was great. My husband and I both got steak dinners. He got the filet and I the Louisiana sirloin. Both tasted great. Sides were fresh and hot. Rolls were the perfect temperature . We would definitely come back after service like tonight.

The only reason for the 3 stars is because Allison S. the waitress was a rock star!! We got there we waited for a good 10 minutes to be seated. I could only see two other customers in the restaurant. The hostess was no where to be found. The bartender Allison S. was quick to jump in, seat us and wait our table. She was running back and fourth but very attentive to our table. Got our drinks, appetizer and food to us in a timely matter. The food was OK. I normally love O'Charley's but it didn't hit the spot today. I'm not sure why it just wasn't the best. All restaurants should find them an Allison S. Because workers who take the initiative to pickup others slack are hard to come by. Give this lady a raise because I know it wasn't her job but she willingly jumped in and took it upon herself to take care of us! Thank you Allison S.

Got here late so only got takeout but the food was very basic. Service was a bit slow and they didn't know their menu. If you want cheap food to sit down for this is a decent place. If you're in a hurry or want better service then this ain't it. Wish I could say better since it's my first time but this is getting 6 out of 10 deportations for not hitting the restaurant experience on the mark.

Quite possibly the worst service I've ever had. Sat without a refill for over 10 minutes. She never offered extra bread. Never once asked if the food was ok. And then I sat another 10 minutes waiting for her to come back to order dessert. She was terrible. Food was fine. As a server for many years, I hope I never give service this poor. I won't be back.
