Blue Fire Bar And Grill

We didn't have a great experience here. Would not recommend if you're coming late in the evening! We stopped in after a show at Rupp Arena. The sign says the place closes at 10 and we and several other families showed up a little past 9. The hostess seemed flustered by several of us showing up - maybe management doesn't plan staffing very well? We ordered a burger and the hummus appetizer, then waited over an hour for our food. The server did check on us a couple of times, but finally I had to ask him to come back to let us know what was going on. He said someone else had accidentally taken our burger to another table, and he would have the kitchen make us a new one even though the grill was officially closed by then. They did make us a new burger and even comped it, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1! The hummus was nothing special. The pita chips and fries (with the burger) both tasted like cardboard. Definitely a frustrating experience, and we'd have been much happier going elsewhere or just not getting food that night!

Did not actually eat at th grill,but stayed here at Hyatt. Beautiful place, friendly staff, very clean! Traffic was packed, we came to see Jeff Dunham & there was also a cheer competition. Considering all th action we still managed to check in & get to th show in ample time. Easy access to Rupp all inside, very spacious! Convenient location fr walking distance to.. entertainment, food, park, &shopping!

This place has a nice ambiance and the food is pretty good for a hotel, but the service is unreliable. The menu in the room and on the TV doesn’t match. I tried giving them a pass because of Covid, but even still. The first visit was ok (there were like 5 people total) but on the second visit we spent 1 hour to only get one drink and the staff NEVER came back to check on us. We were planning on ordering additional items including food, but ended up walking over to LexLive for a to go order. The two staff members walked by us a dozen times and it wasn’t even very busy. I’ve never experienced service so terrible, even during all the troubles the pandemic has presented.

This is a very nice restaurant and bar but the service is extremely slow. There was only one other person there when I arrived. This is also where they serve the breakfast buffet in the morning. There was nobody to greet me at the "Wait to be seated" area so I seated myself finally. The actual buffet was cheap food, something you'd find at Motel 6. The only thing I found good was the sausage.

The staff at BlueFire make this place. Anthony, Mo and Brandon were amazing. Their hospitality, humor, kindness and recommendations for dishes was outstanding and above and beyond any other I've experienced. They are your one stop shop for restaurant and hotel bundled into one. The food at BlueFire is also good. I'd recommend the New York Strip and the Shrimp and Grits, they were absolutely delicious. The Overall a really good experience. I will definitely be back during my next trip! @Hyatt, make sure to treat these guys right they with promotions and raises as these guys are true gems worth retaining.

Personally i found my experience acceptable. Definitely not a high dollar diner experience, but not a 1 star hotel restaurant experience either.. my burger was cooked well not medium, the sweet potato fries were decent, over all taste about a B+. The waiter seemed a bit out of his element, but the food came in 22 minutes and plenty hot. Over all if the wait staff was a little more present, or the prices lower, i would give it a 4 out of 5
