Real Hamburger & Bar

I really quite enjoyed the new Real Hamburger and Bar! My girlfriend and I visited this new place for a Saturday evening dinner recently and we really enjoyed our experience and our meal! This is located in a very busy area of town and is right across from Village Idiot. The environment is very chill, comfortable, classy and family friendly. It reminds me of an old (yet updated) pharmacy restaurant or a modern twist on a classic diner or cafe. We were greeted by the owners, a couple named Krim and Andrea, when we walked in and sat at the bar. The ordering experience was easy and very simple! You order at the counter and the food will come out to you (think "fast-casual"). The menu was just as simple and our meal reflected the same. We both ordered bacon cheeseburgers with fries (grilled onions are free, cheese and bacon are extra but worth it) and it came with "Real sauce," which was delicious. Our food came out surprisingly quickly! The hand-cut fries were crispy and delicious, and I wish we had placed a second order because they were gone so quickly. Our burgers were EXACTLY like we wanted, even though we forgot to mention how we wanted them cooked. They were cooked to a perfect medium (a rare phenomena even in all the burger restaurants these days) and the flavors were delicious (peppercorns, a little spice, and "real" sauce -although we should have asked for some more salt). These burgers were both juicy and delicious! And yes, the buns were toasted. We basically inhaled our burgers, causing me to have hiccups later from eating so fast. While at the restaurant and sitting at the bar, we got to speak with the owners and talk to them about how dedicated they are to sourcing all of their ingredients from local vendors and farmers. It sounds like they do spend a considerable amount of time looking for ingredients and for fresh veggies, fruits, meats, and products. I wouldn't have the patience! But it's worth it to come in and eat delicious food and know that not only are you supporting a local restaurants, but you are supporting other local businesses and other local farmers as well. So, overall its a "Real" feel good experience.

This was one of the best burger place I had a chance to go to for multiple reasons : fresh, local and healthy food, balanced and really enjoyable burger, good idea to pair with asparagus, not fatty but still very tasty, lovely owners giving great and quick service. The atmosphere is simple but very pleasant. Definitely a place I want to stop by all the time I am in town. I can only recommend to try it!

Why does it take 15 minutes to get through a line to order when there are five people ahead of you? Why does it then take over an hour longer for my group to get three burgers, with no sides, which were on one order? I will not return here, and I'm looking forward to seeing this place close so hopefully something that is competently operated can get the space.
