Love it!!! Friendliest staff around! Clean and easy to find goods. Great prices! I moved here from Cincinnati about a year ago. This is my go to for grocery and of course the CHICKEN! FRIED CHICKEN IS DELICIOUS! Believe the hype!

I really loved shopping at Southland store, I drive from the Northside of town, go passed the S.A.L. on Broadway. Southland had the best cut of meats, and the deli O my God good, clean environment, very friendly staff, I was shocked to hear about this location closing. This ONE IS THE BEST.

Heard about their famous deli fried chicken and had to try it. Got their 8 piece with 2 sides for $12.99 (with no sides is $8.99). Almost perfect except the coating was too salty. I chose sweet potato casserole and peach cobbler for sides which were above average or in other words...decent. The cashier told me they have different cooks. So it seems possible the food might vary from day to day.

They really do have the best fried chicken anywhere. The meatloaf is good too. Mashed potatoes are highly recommended and the peach cobbler is to die for.
The grocery side is slightly high priced to be called Save-A-Lot but still worth it for their deli. Will definitely be back.

For years I have always heard about the fried chicken here. Finally got some tonight. Tasted hours old only warm by the heating lights. The entire family disliked it and trust me we really really wanted to like it. I will try again in a couple weeks and adjust my review accordingly. Maybe it was just a bad batch

Best fresh deli made fried chicken. On site meat cutter so you can buy custom cut steaks. Another customer accidently put a bottle of milk in my cart. Be sure to look for some name brand specials too.

I come in at least twice a day for breakfast and lunch through the week. I can say that the staff are all kind and friendly every time they have to see my undead morning or grumpy hungry face. The deli is delicious and kitchen staff are always happy to serve me. I’d definitely recommend over going to the local Kroger.

The store is very nice and clean. Fast checkouts. Have a very nice deli with great food. This is a well stocked store of great items. It never ceases to amaze me that the meat I usually go for is purely,
nicely packaged and at a reasonable price.
