The docs are okay, but the office staff are usually pretty reluctant to be helpful in a casual way. However, the mass mandate is gone and I was still forced to put one on even though I am fully vaccinated too. I've also been going for the same thing a couple times already and they wanted to make a big deal out of it. I'm done. I am absolutely done. I will just rather deal with whatever is wrong.

The best place. Honestly I was nervous about having a male gyno because you know, I just always feel like females can relate and usually be more compassionate than most male doctors I've had in the past but I was WRONG! Dr. Barrett Bradley is 5 stars wonderful. I will be continuing all my future visits with him. He really knows what he's talking about and he is so funny and really lightens the whole room in my opinion that's what a doctor should be! And the ultrasound girl! She was amazing. Like literally the most comforting compassionate girl I've ever had. I've had some terrible experiences so far with this pregnancy and coming to this hospital was the first really comforting experience I've had, and not just because i was receiving good news.. I had to wait awhile but I was also late for my appointment so I completely understand! 5 stars would recommend to anyone!

I just spent five days in the care of Baptist Health Lexington and the care I received was exemplary. Everyone from the ER to housekeeping to foodservice to doctor and nursing staff, lab and nurse assistants, and everyone in between went above and beyond in taking care of me. All were kind, caring, compassionate, professional and communicative at all times. I cannot recommend Baptist Health Lexington enough. Thank you so much for your incredible care during a very scary and stressful time!

FOR NEW FATHERS- There are zero accommodations for you. You will eat from the vending machine and sleep on a cot. Seriously, I had to ask for the cot. Our postpartum room is set up for visitors, not for interactive new dads. This is unacceptable beyond words. I am left believing that a present father is rare enough that accommodations were cut from the budget. Even beyond that, it is obvious they are running on a string budget. I was discouraged from taking home the blanket she was first wrapped in because "they are expensive". Maybe they should roll that extra $3 cost into the bill for insurance to cover. Oh wait, I'm sure they already do. That said: The staff is very nice and our doctors have been A+, but that is where it ends when what Baptist Health has to offer. I heard all this "BH has the best accommodations in town!" That is obviously far from the truth. Update: I asked again for food and was told I could maybe get a turkey sandwich. Maybe.

Hi, my name is Nichimyo Rich. I am appalled at the attitude of your staff. My mom came in and ended up staying for a blood transfusion, as she has some blood loss in an unidentified place. She’s asking for toilet tissue and basic needs, and has not received it. My mom also has an unrelated head wound that needs to be changed regularly, an aide yelled at her and went into her face. My mom felt unsafe and threatened. They asked to aide to leave and the next day she came back to my mom. Why would you have an aide that a patient argued with come back to make a patient feel more unsafe? My mom also has swelling legs due to her heart condition, I called and ask for her needs and to say that aide cannot return to my moms room. The nurse responded “well your mom walked here and she didn’t ask for anything” I then asked for patient advocacy and she hung up on me. Why are you all treating people like this? It is 2022.

I want to post this review to alert the public of a practice that takes place in certain departments of this hospital. Especially the emergency room. They allow the department to bill the patient directly.In my case they did not submit the bill to my insurance. I contacted my insurance company and it had not been submitted. They gave them the info… 3 months later they billed with a hateful notice. This time I contacted the billing department in the hospital. They contacted them with insurance info. Two weeks later I got a letter from a collection agency trying to collect a portion of the bill.. I guess they had applied the insurance. The letter had no information other than the amount. The large bill I had received also lacked details…. I’ve had it. I am contacting my doctors to see what other hospitals they can use to treat me. The hospital explains they can’t control the billing. I’m sorry but when I entered the building it bears their name. I pay my bills and have an 800+ credit score and will not be treated in this manner! Please don’t take this down again…

I had a very welcoming experience with extremely thorough and efficient staff members starting in the ER. A special Thank you to the young lady that loaned me her charger in the Echocardiogram section of the hospital and the friendliest ladies that took care of me in that location. Irisha you are a very professional lady with a true passion for what you do as well as making people feel comfortable and at ease! How kind and thoughtful. Thank you and thank you to Dr Pence as well. As well as many others! Great overall care .
