Uno Chicago Grill

We ordered the 16" thin crust BBQ chicken for curbside pickup. The customer service of the gentleman running the curbside was excellent. The speed at which we got our pizza was adequate. Then we got home. Upon looking at the pizza, there was just a very very small amount of actual BBQ a sparce amount of chicken spread unevenly on uneven cut squares. It tasted like the Mojave desert if it were a pizza. From the chicken to the crust, it was the driest pizza I have ever tasted. It feels like the pizza was rushed and over cooked. In the end,, we threw away half the pizza because it just wasn't good. I should have gone to MOD Pizza at the bottom of the hill.

Have not visited this Unos location in over 8 years and it hasn't changed. Unfortunately this is the only location in the NC, SC & GA area so we had to drive from Charlotte. The restaurant was dead when we arrived at around 3:30, almost looked like it was closed and there were only a few customers inside. Overall everything was good. Most employees were wearing masks and a bottle of hand sanitizer was placed on each table BUT......one restaurant employee was standing at the hostess stand with another employee chatting and felt like she didnt need to follow the mask rule. Unfortunately no one from the management staff asked her to put a mask on.....situations like that puts other people at risk!!! We ordered two wing appetizers, the artichoke and spinach appetizer and then the large meat market deep dish for the entree. The wing appetizers and deep dish were all good but I did not enjoy the spinach/artichoke appetizer. It came with pizza crust pieces for dipping and a spoon. When I saw the spoon there was instant confusion 🤯......instead of calling it a dip they need to call it a soup. It was too soupy to scoop up with the pizza crust pieces. Will return when we feel like doing another 1 1/2 hour drive from Charlotte.

It's one of those places that you are either in the mood for or you aren't. It's good for a change-up or once every month or two, but not the kind of place that is on the short-list every Friday when we are trying to figure out where to go for supper. It does have a bar and if I was into meeting people for drinks, I'd definitely consider it. Food is pretty good.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. Each time we try and come back and give it a chance, this time we came out for our son’s 5th birthday. We will definitely not be coming back. The waitress was super sporadic. My wife’s and my meal came out cold, roughly 15 minutes after the kid’s food. It seemed like it was sitting there before theirs came out. The kids never got a single re-fill. The waitress left before we were done with our dinner and no one even bothered to tell us. At the end of dinner, another waitress came to drop off our check and took my card and disappeared. We waited over 10 minutes until I finally got up to find my card, when the second waitress came out to tell me they couldn’t close us out since they didn’t have her log in. She had left the facility and they asked me to wait for her to come back. The manager came out and apologized but never attempted to reconcile the situation. I’m not asking for a free meal or a comp, I’m just extremely disappointed in the customer service and won’t be returning.
