Jersey Mike's Subs

I love Jersey Mike's but this location is atypical of what I experience at other locations. The staff always seems unwelcoming and annoyed. The preparation area today was flithy, the tomatoes did not look fresh, the lettuce was floating in a half full pan of water. When I asked if the water could be shakened out before putting it on my sandwich I was reluctantly obliged, only after a soggy handful had already been placed on it. Is this really something that should need to be mentioned? I also prefer the oil and vinegar on the lettuce before the tomatoes are added. This request was also responded to with an annoyed response. By the time I got home and unwrapped it, which was maybe 10 minutes, the bottom piece of bread was completely saturated from all the water that was in the lettuce. I recently moved to the Lexington area and this is the closest location to me. This was my third try, so they are out. I guess I will go somewhere else or drive a little farther to the location I used to frequent. Update 11/01/2020 The owner reached out with an apology and a request for another chance. I'll give it some time and try this location again after some time has passed. Hopefully they can get a qualify group to staff the store, they are in a very convenient location for me.

So, I went to the Lexington Location today, and an employee was rude to a customer, she wasn't pleasant at all. She was fixing the customer food it was incorrect, the costumer advise that, she was fixing the wrong sub for him. The employee told the customer no it's not this is what you ordered. The customer was so disgusted with how the employee spoke to him he left out. By the way with everything going on with Covid-19 the employee wasn't wearing a mask. I will not be returning there.

My husbands very favorite place. Except he always orders a very specific item, some kind of tuna wrap, and not kidding 6 out of ten times, he comes home empty handed because they are out of tuna salad. He worked at a JM for years when he was younger, he knows it only takes a few minutes to make. We have just had to start looking for somewhere else to go. Or call ahead and ask if they have it available. Just unnecessary in my opinion. When they do have it, the food is quite good.
