Scott's Barbecue

I've had the ability to eat different BBQ all over the world, and have been to quite a few incredible BBQ restaurants throughout America. The pulled pork at B.E. Scott's BBQ is hands down, some of the BEST BBQ I've ever had in 20 years of traveling and trying food across the world. It's not overpowered with seasoning, and they allow you to make it your own flavor experience. Truly some of the most tender and amazing pulled pork and chicken I've ever experienced. If you're taking a road trip near Lexington Tennessee, you need to make it a point to stop here. Just make sure you get there before they sell out.

The best BBQ sandwich I've ever had. Everything was perfectly balanced between flavors and texture with the BBQ not being overpowered and standing out as the star of the show. I can't recommend B.E. Scotts enough. When I first ordered I was treated like a regular, which is nice, but as soon as the very attentive cashier realized I didn't know all the options I wanted on my sandwich she sweetened up and walked me though it. Do I want anything else on it? Mayo slaw or vinegar slaw? Sauce? Mild, sweet, or hot? It turned out perfectly. We rode over a hundred miles just to try this place for lunch, it would be worth going over a thousand.

Delicious, moist, super tender pork from a regional classic. We traveled down from Ohio and their communication before we arrived (on FB and over the phone) was amazing. We were able to reserve some meat just in case they sold out before we got down there. It was definitely worth the wait, I don't know that I've ever had meat that tender and it was just the right amount of smoke. Maybe the best bbq beans I've ever had <3

I only had the large pulled pork sandwich with hot sauce and vinegar slaw on a Thursday at lunch. This was my first time there. The sandwich was full and had a good flavor. It was $4.50. Employees were very nice and seemed to know most of the customers that were coming in for lunch including what they usually order which is a nice touch. The place has plenty of seating [see pics]. Only downside was the bathrooms were outside. They were clean but very, very basic. I would recommend at least a topping by one time and trying it out for yourself!
