Hy-vee

The best, most varied selection of products housed in a clean and well laid out store. If we had one on the west coast it would be my regular "fast food" stop. The selection of fast and newly made ready foods is fantastic. This store had at least 5 food style choices in the first 100 feet. Highly recommend!

Hyvee it's self was fine. Not to happy with my food purchase from Whalburgers. I ordered the Burger Bowl Salad, minus tomato and onion. Now from my previous experience with Whalburgers,the salads are huge. So you could imagine my surprise when I got this small Tupperware container. I told myself to keep an option mind. So with a positive mindset I opened the container and was disappointed instantly. First off it looked as though it had a single party from McDonald's. The menu stated it was mixed greens. The salad was most certainly not mixed greens. It was majority Romaine, and the yucky, thick, crunchy part of Romaine, with a slight toss of mixed greens. This salad cost me $12.00 and I was so disappointed tossed it to the side and put some chicken nuggets in the air fryer SMH.

We purchased a Valentine's meal kit to make at home. The salad was too small to share, no croutons or dressing. The baked potatoes and asparagus were of decent size. The baguette took some creativity because it was so hard and thin. The 4 oz lobster yielded only a spoonful of meat (very disappointed). The steak was perfect and delicious. This was our first meal kit purchase from Hy-Vee. I wish it had come w some cooking/heating tips or instructions. Overall it was a good experience. We will definitely be doing it again!

We go here often & love this place for shopping. Today we got their pizza. Usually we love it. The Tuscano is our favorite, usually. I’m not sure if something in their recipe changed or what, but it really was disappointing today. Not only was the pizza not good, but it was also cut really bad. Normally the crust is just the right amount of crunch too. It wasn’t crunchy at all except for part of the crust. EDIT: After being contacted by a manager at HyVee about this problem, they did what they could to make it right! I am very pleased with their attentiveness to this issue we had and I have changed my review to 4 stars. I think everyone should have as good of customer service as they do. We still love going there. That won't change.
