I am a contracted employee whose first experience with Liberty Hospital was as an inpatient after moving here. I fell in love with the hospital, and now my husband and I both work here. I am writing you today to sing more praises. I took my special needs son to our ER Wednesday night for an extremely high fever I could not control. The doctor and staff were so understanding and caring with my son who was difficult to say the least because he didn’t understand. My son was discharged, which I fully agreed with, and we happily went home. Friday morning I noticed changes in his condition and brought him back to the ER. He was struggling and scared. Your entire staff was so accommodating and compassionate. I wish I would have taken names but it was chaotic. The point of this email is the wonderful care of the entire ER staff and Kevin in particular. He took a minute at the end to stop, look at me and have a personal moment of support with a struggling mother. I cannot tell you how much that one act of human kindness meant to me in such a scary time and eased my soul to take on what was to come next. This hospital is amazing. I have been in healthcare for over a decade and this hospital and staff blow my mind with the care and support they provide. I am proud to work here and grateful to have Liberty Hospital there for my family.

Dr Nathan Gause is a talented, knowledgeable, caring Orthopedics Dr. I completely trust Dr. Gause. I traveled 5 hours for him to do surgery on my knee. I was affiliated with Dr Gause & Lia, his wife at his previous employer. This was my 3rd surgery with Dr Gause. Liberty is lucky to have Dr. Gause. I also stayed on campus at The Treehouse. Niodori was absolutely amazing to me. What an excellent facility for people like myself to stay. The Treehouse was spotless, fully equipped. The grounds are all very peaceful. Everyone was very caring. Nurses were excellent on 4th floor. Surgery nurses were excellent. Orthopedics was excellent.

I already preferred Liberty Hospital over any other hospitals I've been to over the years then.... I had my surgery on Friday, seamless process, kept Amanda informed all the way through, and very professional/courteous staff. It went smooth and other than the constant blood dripping out of my nose(which is normal for this type of surgery)and the headaches hopefully it will be worth it in the end. Maybe less congestion and I can smell again eventually. Anyway, I was going through the discharge packet and the nurses left me this card. Just makes me love them even more. Best hospital in North Missouri hands down. Never had a get well soon card from the nurses at any hospital before.

I feel so fortunate to have such an outstanding medical facility right in my home town and having my primary care physician and specialists within the same system is very convenient. That said, I think it is the people that make the Liberty Hospital system the world class medical facility that it is, from the doctors and surgeons to the nursing and support staff. I've had four major surgeries in the past year, all at Liberty Hospital, and am continually impressed by high level of care provided.

Back in November, I had a kidney infection and it was hurting a lot. Went to Liberty Hospital and the service was great! Doctors took some pictures and it turned out to be a kidney infection. Doctors used the IV bags on my right arm. After that, I got discharged from the hospital at almost midnight. Thank you for helping my kidney infection and service! I’ll give Liberty Hospital a 10/10 and an A+!

If I could give negative stars I would. I have been in and out of their "care" since my son's still birth July 2021. And every single time it has been negligence refusal of service, abusive and torturous behavior and blatant lies. I will be contacting a lawyer for medical malpractice negligence and gaslighting. This place needs to be completely restaffed from direct patient care to administration and the so called patient advocates who gaslight you just as bad as the medical staff do.

Boyfriend just had surgery last week. Had to make a follow up because of infection, vomiting and fever. Dr Meyers basically said it was a bruise (which his primary physician diagnosed as an infection) and sent him in his way. The doctor told my boyfriend to stop taking the antibiotic and that the pain medicine was causing him to vomit. That’s it. Very unprofessional and did nothing to help. Waste of time and money.
